Fingers, toes and any other part of the human anatomy crossed that Reed plays.

If the situation is that bad we're forced to play the likes of Glenn & Stagg in the centres, we may as well play the Ranga.

Would much rather Reed play in the backline instead of Stagg. Stagg doesn't have the agility or speed to play in the centers anymore and coming up against Gagai I can see Stagg being dominated.

Oates to centre, hoffman to wing, norman to FB. i realise norman is leaving us, but hes 100% better than stagg in the backline. do we want to win, or just run out on the field

If we want to win do we really want a so called fullback who is not willing to play with his heart, put his body on the line or even think to look to his outside players in attack, Hoffman may not be great in attack but he owns Norman in every other area, Hodges got us home with that try late against the Cowboys, but without Hoffman's efforts from fullback the Cowboys could have easily racked up tries against us, the game prior to that Norman dropped an absolute sitter that led to an easy try.

Fingers crossed for Reed as our bench looks shithouse

scumbag broncos selectors. 30 year old second rower coming off an injured ACL. named in centres.

Stagg is a representative player. Automatically he's better than any of our other choices.

Jokes aside, there aren't many other options.

It was the right selection, I'd much prefer Stagg to be there than Gillett or another rookie in a must win game coming up against Gagai/Uate.

I don't mind Stagg there. His defence is good enough, he used to be one of the best cover defenders in the comp not too long ago, so he's got mobility.

So what's the deal with Hannant? Every week he's a late withdrawal I wish the club would give us an update on his injury. It sucks having one our best players missing so much football.

If we lose this game I'd consider shutting him down for the season.. same with Kahu, it's not worth risking injuring them further for a 5% chance of making the first round of the playoffs.

JACK Reed is set for a shock comeback in the Brisbane Broncos’ critical Friday night clash against the Knights in Newcastle.
The Broncos named backrower David Stagg as the replacement for injured utility Alex Glenn, but Reed is likely to make an earlier than expected return from a fractured collarbone.

Looks like Stagg might not play in the centres afterall.

I think it is a calf injury which are notoriously tough to get over.

So annoying, the game before the bye he was a last hour withdrawal (literally) then I thought he'd definitely be back after the bye but not named and this week not named. He's a huge loss to the team when he's not playing :(

They'll be without Mason or Snowden, so it's not too bad. Although I would have loved to see Hannant start passing the ball like he did in his last match. Would be great to have him come off the bench and do it, just when we usually start playing Griffinball after the 20th minute.

I think I have already mentioned that they are unsure whether Hannant will get back on the park this year. Any thing could happen with he calf

reed is one of those guys who if he's 50/50 on tuesday he will definitely play on friday. expect him to run out. lets hope he gets through the game unscathed.
