POST GAME [Round 22, 2023] Broncos vs Roosters

No, you're drawing lines.

Do you genuinely believe that Staggs was offside, or that the footage provided was insufficient evidence to prove he was onside via a standard (ie, longer than ten or so seconds) Bunker review? Genuinely?

FTR we wouldn't have to if the NRL made good on their claim that they were introducing a virtual overlay on to all broadcasts. You could argue that the above proves that it's not as easy as it seems, but they've had the tech a long time in the NFL. It would now be old tech and you'd assume they could either easily replicate it, or license it.

And swimming, and soccer, and I'm sure a lot of other sports I'm not aware of.

I won't go too much into my extremely technical and highly accurate method... but my line clearly shows that our players are onside.

I won't entertain any talk of bias.

Maam is WAY on-side, Haas enters his final form, and how did they miss Radley with a flying kick to Walsh's head???

To be fair. The bunker didn't get the decision wrong.
They just completely ignored checking it which is worse some how.
They check every try, they just decided to use eyes on this one or go by the refs decision since for this game only they didn't seem to be able to rule on Offsides or whatnot.

I think both are onside since you would draw the line from Reece's boot which looks closer to the 10m line than any part of Ezras Body to me.

So the question was asked about the Staggs No try right at the end. Fobbed it off saying the touch judge was right in line and called it. It’s hard coming up with enough evidence to overturn it, camera angles, etc etc he reckons…

Worst part of it is that he makes a lot of sense. If the NRL weren't so amateurish, it would be less believable.

He definitely does make sense, and I'm impressed with his skills! Love ya Morks. 😘

With that said, it's laughable that some random bloke on an internet forum can draw lines on an image to prove whether a decision was correct/incorrect, yet this tinpot organisation and their 'state of the art' bunker is incapable of making such a decision, and just throws it back to the on-field referee. That's cooked.

Despite the fact that they do it all the time.

If the touch judge said no try and the Blunder isn't going to review that call then why even look at it. Despite the on field ref being wrong six(?) times in one game that weekend and the Blunder being forced to overturn it each time.

Can I just say, @Morkel for PM? Or Vlandys? Or I'll even settle for Senior Bunker Review Official.

Soooo gaslighting it is then.

Usually he has a 15mins slideshow ready to go into deep details of contentious decisions, but it seems he decided to put as much effort in as Gee did from the bunker on Thursday night.

Except they weren’t right in line, they were still running back when the kick was put up, which can be seen on the replay, which also shows Staggs well onside.

They screwed up, yet because we won comfortably the media don’t go on about it and so the nrl don’t react to it.
