Not a whole lot in it, but Lui edged him out in the Cowboys game. He seemed invisible that night which lead a lot of members to question Hook's use of the bench but Tasi's first stint was pretty bloody lazy. His defence in particular was very loose and a couple of his efforts lead to the Cowboys marching down field and opening their account for the evening which gave them momentum.

I hope Tasi tears it up later today for the Jets up against the Seagulls because I see him as the better talent but I don't think the guy was hard done by at all.

What's the g with tasi? Signed with broncos to get more top grade game time but has only played 1 game so far? Is he injured?

No injury was 18th man on Friday. Will play today in Woomba.

Tasi has heaps more potential than Lui. That was a mistake picking him friday night over Tasi.

I don't necessarliy agree that Lui got the edge on him against the cowboys. Tasi offered/s much more than Lui with the ball.....

Can't remember seeing much of either of them vs Cowboys..checking stats Tasi played 2 more minutes than Lui, Tasi made 2 more tackles, but missed 1 to Lui's 0. They both only did 2 hitups, but Tasi made 11 more metres from his.

If Tasi didn't do enough to make the Knights game, then neither did Lui and we should've thrown Wallace in.

If Tasi didn't do enough to make the Knights game, then neither did Lui and we should've thrown Wallace in.

Surely he's got an injury then. He didn't sign up to have 2 hitups/minutes a game. Really don't understand hook. If we do get barba he'll probably spend half the year in qcup.

i know what you are saying Pete, I was disapointed in tasi during the sharks game but it still seems a strange decision to drop him after 1 interchange period of 1 game where the other option is a nuffie like lui and hook has a history of being patient with poor performances before dropping from squad.

just hope there is nothing more too it and tasi gets the rest of the season to prove himself one way or the other. Sick of having these guys on our books who get 1 game every 5 like Anderson/slyney/lui/Wallace and no one really knows where they stand in the pecking order.

Yep. Everyone must remember the game plan. Each forward carts it up 4 times a set and then it's kicked and we chase.

I get that FG and I would have personally stuck with Tasi but I don't think it's a big deal at all, or at least worth the amount of attention it's received.

First off Tasi has barely been at the club for a month now and even then hasn't been around our senior players at all. He still needs more time to adjust and learn his role.

His performance against the Cowboys simply wasn't that good. It isn't like Tasi was tearing things up when he was with us.

Being a fringe forward and playing under a goofball like Hook has to be incredibly demoralizing, this franchise will go nowhere until this joker is put out tp pasture.

BP, you know that comment leaves you, well, not you, but a certain coach and most players, wide open for the relevant witty observation. But then, when I look at the ladder, I forget wit and feel like screaming.

Like, what you say applies to the top 4-5 teams, and recent scorelines tell one that for them, the complexity is no hurdle (they worked that out in pre-season) but a sprint to the line.

As for Macca at 9, well ... a 9 is just a 6 upside down

Lama wasn't strong today in the first half. Came back and played a very good 20 minute stint after half time.

His runs got the Jets moving forward again in that half.

He's settling in, over reacting to be suggesting he's been killing it and has been roughly treated to be playing Qld Cup.
