Anyone notice Roberts never playing the ball properly? He got pinged for it last week but he deadset didn't play the ball with his foot once tonight I don't think. They'll be on to him soon, or he'll get nabbed at a crucial moment.

He's too fast, when he steps over the ball hes going at like 30kms an hour

I'm just really angry for the 2nd week in a row at the piss poor defensive attitude, reads and worst of all, the appalling tackling technique that really loses us so many games. If a player misses tackles because of an arm or shoulder grab they should be demoted for weeks. Inexcusable rubbish at this level.

The forwards tonight I thought were largely terrific, especially Lodge. Milford was excellent.

We desperately need a leader in the middle who can control the game and pull the team together. So frustrating watching such talent get squandered.

This is not a finals team on performance. On talent it is a top 4 side. Coaching is key

This was actually his best game. Didn't hog on the 4th and didn't give away dumb ass penalties. Wish he played like this every week

I'd take his runs on the 4th any day of the week over Sam "Did you say 25 reps or 25 wraps?" Thaiday.

Counting down the days until the bastard retires. Hopefully my memories of him in 10 years time are of the glory days and not of this pitiful fucking player he's turned in to over the last couple of years.

Whilst disappointed, I’m not even remotely surprised.

The ‘rivalry’ went to the NRL script, we played like easy-beats in the first half and couldn’t close out a game.

Why is anyone shocked by that.

EDIT: my biggest hate from tonight; Boyd’s lack of effort to even try and get there to stop JT2 after he spilled the ball - classic Boyd. He got back to his feet, trailed back, but jogged at half-arse pace. If he truly cared, if he was a true leader, he’d try harder. He was close enough to make an effort if he wanted to.

While the milf no try was a howler, Roberts clearly knocked the ball on for his try. I can live with the second try but that one was clear as day.

There's nothing worse than seeing us concede a dumb as **** try off of an error. We've come up with some absolute horror this season. It's the difference between winning and losing.

Yes. He has not been dropped for non-disciplinary reasons since he was given the 9 jersey. The quality of our back-up hooker options have been trending consistently down to the point where we don't even seem to even be trying to develop anyone. Since Lockyer retired, nobody has had more job security than McCullough. I doubt Turpin is going to be an NRL quality rake either. He most likely would have signed here to play QLD Cup rather than NSW Cup.

Fifita didn't get to his feet to play the ball. They haven't let those go all year.

Pretty vital tackle. Also offered nothing the whole game and couldn't keep up with Alex Glenn when he made a break. Any other centre in the game would have scored under the posts.

It's still a load of rubbish the second time around. Maybe watch the break again when you have calmed down a bit kid.

I don't get why when Milfords try wasn't awarded we then didn't take a shot at goal to go 4 points up. Yeah they ended up scoring 6 but at the time it would soak up time and gives the boys a breather.
