Forwards have to go forwards. Until they do that, the backs won't have time and opportunity to do jack shit.

Forwards weren't the problem (or the biggest one) last night. They did alright. We were at their line enough times to get several tries...but no creativity or execution from the halves or backs.

*Oh and shit defence all around.

Completely agree. Forwards did go alright last night. But you cannot compare 20 minute performances from TPJ and Herman against our other forwards who are playing 50 to 80mins. Lets give them some more minutes so we can see exactly where they can take us.

We shouldnt be putting so much pressure on these young forwards.They really should be eased into the team, like we did successfully with Offa last season. They are all talented players, but they just dont have the nrl know how as a group yet.

I think we lack a couple of journeymen type forwards who just get the job done without much fuss, the type melbourne usually pick up.

I do agree that Milford does look overweight. He just isn't as quick as he was before, making him nowhere near as dangerous.

Wallace made 20-30m on his line break at least and scored a try.

Our centres need to be sorted defensively as that is where the majority of the Dragons attack will come with the occasional Frizell in the middle.

My reasoning behind Roberts moving to the wing is that he hasn't been that strong defensively and he doesn't have wingers quick enough to take advantage of the space he can make so he might be more effective on the wing. Only problem is I'm not sure how proficient he is at catching high balls.

If Nikorima is fit put him on the bench in place of Wallace since he won't be here next year and because Ese'ese and Pangai Jr offer more impact and second phase play. Both of those guys can be game breaking forwards, so explosive.
