Didn't Thaiday play 5/8th or start at there in a game? (I think that was the season in the late 2000's we were decimated by injuries). Worse situations can happen lol
In the finals against Melbourne in 2007.

If we do that, then who'll play lock?If a forward is going to spend time at hooker its Moose.

Sometimes I wonder how he managed to get a contract..
He must have had some dirt on some of the admins at the Broncos.
Could be wrong but wasn't he on some sort of second tier contract along with being contracted to Redcliffe?Sometimes I wonder how he managed to get a contract..

I wouldn't mind if Arrow got another chance but TPJ would be a great idea too!TPJ, Glenn, Thaiday ... take your pick

Gee you're harsh. He never had a contract.
Best ISC hooker ever. 253 games. Filled in when the Broncos needed him.
He should have played more NRL. Never got a proper go.
Don't care what he did in the ISC.
He never replicated that in the NRL. Defensively, he was a bloody nightmare.
Hard to believe a teacher picked for NRL games wasn't Cam Smith.
Haha, you do this all the time when someone criticizes an ISC player.. Why can't you handle people criticizing ISC players?
I've called for Oates to be given a Gene Miles/Meninga style role for at least three years now so it's great reading others are like minded. I can't dismiss the arguments against that either but were I King for Day I'd decree he gets a shot !Oates in the centers would be a Gene Miles type player ... IMO would be a revelation there with some time in the position.
Now is not even remotely the right time for moving him from the back line.
we are currently very strong in the back row with Gillett, TPJ, Su'A, Glenn, this new ESL signing (maybe Bird next year depending where Bennett plans to play him) etc.
no where near as good depth in the back line. move Oates and your next best option would be Pearson (who you have been calling to be dropped for weeks)
