[Round 23, 2021] Broncos vs Warriors

Call me a cynical POS however Henry P should not be anywhere near a warriors game. If his howler when the warriors played the raiders wasn’t enough, this has to be.

Yeah, I understand they're supposed to be impartial but take the controversy out of it ffs. If you played for the team, you don't oversee their game...simple. I'm very glad Walsh can't GK for shit though.

@Nashy did we go through with the banner bet?

Apart from the deadset bullshit that the bunker is, see how much better and closer the contest is when there is fark all set restarts.
This was a noticeable difference. Broncos are constantly better when there are no strings of 6-again calls early. I called it last year. That was basically a tactic to wipe us out without it being overt. They were/are never consistent with 6-agains and they use them to influence a game severely. Since the whole "blowout" fiasco the refs have put the hand in the pocket, but they will simply say that we got fitter/better at defense. It's a farce.

My big concern is how much we lose our way when Haas comes off for a breather, Flegler played well today again and I'm hoping he continues but we need to be able to continue the charge forward when Haas is off.

If you take the two points we should have had last week (forget all the close games we nearly won) and add them to our total the Tits have only won two more games than us to date. I think Kevvie and the coaching staff deserve some credit. Working with what they’ve got has been challenging. The shit officials have not helped. What was wrong with our first try? Frikkin bunker again!

Great to finally win a close one despite the best efforts of Checcen and Perenara. Flegler had another good game and Haas was a metre eating machine. Thought we were playing all over the Warriors till Kennedy came on. He missed two crucial tackles with one leading to a try and the other big metres to the opposition. I was a fan at the start of his career but he is losing me at the moment. Milford had probably his best game in 3 years but still took the wrong option on the last tackle on multiple occasions. Instead of taking the percentage play and forcing the Warriors to drop out he kept going for the glory or nothing play.

Liking what I'm seeing for next year and Reynolds should sort out our last tackle options nicely.

Payne and Tom went off around the same time, I just don't think you can take both of your starters off at the same time. The other thing is (stats may prove this false) but it seems like Flegs is playing more and more minutes as well.

Didn't realise Tom went off as well at that time, well that only compounds the issue.

Say what you want about Kevvie but look what he has done from what he was given, Madge in 3 seasons at Tigers haven't had a run of games like us where they have been consistently competitive for 2 months and he gets given Free passes from the candy store.

The way we have been playing lately we would easily make the 8 if we had a better start.
