How the heck does this game end up 3pm on a Saturday? NRL man, how is it that if something can be done wrong, they go flying in and do it?

Cowboys preferred slot so the drunken hicks out of town can drive in the morning, get pissed up and drink drive on the way home after the game.

Hopefully we get riki or piakura back this week. Carrigan probably proved tonight he's an equally good back rower than both of them but it will be nice having him back in the middle

This game is two extremely in form teams... the ref needs to stay the **** out of it and let them see who wins.

We could be a decent chance of winning this game, but cows are the most in form team at the moment.

Can we weather the storm and then attack off the back of it or will this be like round 3 last year where cows announced themselves and were relentless for 80mins straight??

This is a huge test for our boys... We desperately need Patty back in the middle for this game... we need Reyno on song... and we need a nice dry track to let Reece do his thing (hopefully he has his head screwed on for this game).

The blockbuster combo of Dolphins vs Knights at 5.30 to represent a Bennett ball cup... can't be having that at 3.00!!!

And then the almighty Sydney showdown of Rabbits vs Sharks in Perth in front of about 15k people... gotta get them sharkies on the tv screens ... because that's what no one wants to watch, based on tv ratings.

I have to post this here too…. Want to make sure it’s not missed… I’m really liking the prospect of this kid:

Can you guys imagine, when the 198cm tall, 114kg 21 year old (turns 21 on Wednesday) realises that all the men, the adults he plays against aren’t actually tougher?! When he realises that sure, they’re battle hardened, but not stronger. They are more cunning. They are just way more aggressive and are trying to scare him…
Can you imagine what that will do for that kid’s confidence?! When he realises that he can bend the line with every run if he wants to and make 10m plus.
I am of course talking about Xavier Willison. The young man who could be our very own NAS 2.0 (including brains and footy skill). Scary proposition, but boy oh boy I hope he reaches for the stars because anything is possible for that kid.

Nah, it's a double header on a Saturday at one of the best stadiums in Australia. It's going to be 30+k unless it's pissing down.

Really worried about drinky exploiting our up and in defence on the edges. Cobbo could get torn apart because the cowboys have strike out wide and no one is better at putting his winger away than the cowboys 1. Gonna be an interesting game to see what Kev does.
