I don’t think there is anything in the Hess one. He won’t get suspended surely. Holmes 100% is getting suspended for that hit after last week.

Should be at least a grade 2 shoulder charge... maybe even Grade 3 because it was pretty bad.

He also copped a suspension last week so this would be a multiple charges scenario.

He should be missing like 3-4 weeks for it if he cops a Grade 2

He's actually been charged with a Grade 1 shoulder charge earlier in the year as well ... A Grade 2 shoulder charge would be 3-4 weeks

Basically he should be fucked no matter what... will the NRL actually follow through with it or puss out

It will be a Grade 1 and it will be his third offence which is a $3000 fine or 2 matches if he fights it and loses.

Campbell body height had dropped and Holmes more gets him with the upper arm. These will factor into the decision.

I would be very surprised to see it a Grade 2.

It'll be interesting to see what the Cowboys do if Holmes is suspended.

Judging by their reserves, they have three options.

Bring back Kyle Feldt and shift either Valemei or Taulagi into the centres.
Or replace directly with Zac Laybutt or Brendan Elliot.

On paper, the Feldt option looks the best with Taulagi shifting in-field. However, it depends on how much faith they have in Taulagi's defence at this level.

Yep normally a loss would make them harder but I actually think it will be a good thing for us. They need nothing else to motivate for next weeks game, if they lose today the demons of early season might not seem so far away all of a sudden. It might over-fire them up as well, just like the Roosters were.
If they lose it might fir3 them up but if they weren't already at maximum fired up they wouldn't be a top 8 side...
