ZzzzzzzzzzzzWhat are you on about?
ZzzzzzzzzzzzWhat are you on about?
**** if that's the best they've got then that's attrocious..
I watched 10 minutes. A game with no stoppages they say? The ball was out 1/2 the time and the other 1/2 they were laying on top of each other with no one knowing where the ball was. It was like watching under 10's footy...
It was a close finish with your team winning, coming from behind, I do hope that's skewed your perception because lawn bowls even seems exciting when that happens.
This isn’t for this game , and I’m not sure if it’s even “mathematically possible” but how sweet would it be to knock souths out of finals in the first round
I wrote the same thing, weeks and weeks ago because the Dogs have been playing well for quite some time. People on here are delusional if they think the Dogs game is a given. We might be bundled out of qualifying in that game. The way the Dogs are playing, they’re no easy beats either.
Better check him out soon then, before the racist Victorians boo him out of the game. Also if people in Brisbane miss seeing some pure pace from a passionate indigenous player since Roberts left, then check out Charlie Cameron run around for the lions. Absolute gun.
It is though. One of my mates had to do a stint in Melbourne for work. Before he left he was only into soccer, when he came back they'd converted him to an AFL acolyte. He was always telling me how bloody great AFL is, tried to get me into it by showing me some biggest bumps highlights on youtube. Fair dinks, James Maloney hits harder than those cats. It's a sport for weak southerners, kept alive because Victorians will only credit things from Victoria. ***** are as insular as an esky full of pink batts.Well this response is what I would typically expect from someone who knows nothing about the game and probably grew up thinking it was a sport for pansies.
I played afl when I was a kid. Made the zone team in school actually. We won every game in our district and also made the semi finals of the state Cup, losing our one and only game against the eventual state Cup champions. This is when we were living in Nsw.Well this response is what I would typically expect from someone who knows nothing about the game and probably grew up thinking it was a sport for pansies.
***** are insular as an esky of full pink batts.... Seriously have a listen to yourselves. Alot of people don't like afl. Me personally, I think it looks like under 6s footy. Everyone chasing the ball, falling on top of it when it pops up. They get rewarded when they miss, they get rewarded for a task that is expected in most sports (catching the ball), they claim to be some sort of athletic specimens (rexonas greatest athlete and boxing charity event tells me they are not at all, it takes more than running long distances to make you the best athlete in the world). That's what's shit about the sport.Better check him out soon then, before the racist Victorians boo him out of the game.

Isn't @abashii on your side here?I played afl when I was a kid. Made the zone team in school actually. We won every game in our district and also made the semi finals of the state Cup, losing our one and only game against the eventual state Cup champions. This is when we were living in Nsw.
90% of us never played afl before, we were just tall for our age. That was our talent.
This is what makes me laugh about afl fans. It can't accept that other people don't like the sport. There's got to be something wrong with the person, it couldn't possibly be the sport. I mean, sure, Australia is the only country that plays it but that's just because the world doesn't know what it's missing.

Are you saying the entire world is insular? It's only Australia that is outgoing towards sports? Have a listen to what you just said and tell me again who the insular one is. Fair dinkum.... Also, that example lol... I've had mates that weren't into soccer, lived in England, turned into tragic, same with one mate who went to USA with gridiron. Then I've got keen nrl fans who come from Victoria but have lived up here or nsw for years. What's your point? Does that make those sports amazing? NO. It's called tribalism, it's a sense of belonging, its community. Ffs the arrogance of afl people is insane, they honestly believe its the rest of the world missing out on this amazing sport.
We are all missing out due to our insular thinking! Haha seriously..
My bad. I thought he was being sarcastic. Sorry @abashii. Yes they are hahaIsn't @abashii on your side here?

Fair work mate. I've certainly never let anything get in the way of a good rant, although it does sting a bit you figured I was with the southern softies.A few too many beers last night. It doesn't effect my ability to rant, I just often get the person or topic wrong haha
