Kevvie Walters said on deadset legends yesterday that he had spoken to Kahu and he said he should be back this week, which is great new. so with that in mind i would go with:

1. Boyd
2. Oates
3. Kahu
4. Roberts
5. Pearson
6. Milford
7. Hunt
8. McGuire
9. McCullough
10. Blair
11. Thaiday
12. Gillett
13. Parker

14. TPJ
15. Wallace
16. Arrow/Offahengue
17. Glenn

Walters also said he thought that Kahu would take over the goal kicking

That would be pretty much the best team we've fielded all year

As well it seems like Wayne has eventually found the switch, turned on the lights, and found 17 + players at home, with a new lease of life, led in part by Milf's inspiring performance last game, and the the energy and enthusiasm, missing for so many weeks.

Can't wait for this game, especially our kick chase which i can see will will really frustrate and stifle the dogs into blunders.

Ben Hunt to play a blinder, along with Milf - in fact, our spine will dominate

We owe their forwards a spanking. Kasiano and klemmer in particular. Won't be easy but if we tackle hard in numbers hopefully they'll be nullified

Glenn was great when he came on Friday.

If we win this and Cowboys lose next week, we overtake them.

Really looking forward to this game, this game will be a sterner test and it will be a better indicator of how well we are going. The Bulldogs of 2016 are a gnarled bunch of over achievers so it will be a tough game.

I really really really really hope Wayne has them charge up in defence and not stand back and let the Bulldogs monsters roll over the top of us.

Bulldogs form has been unpredictable this year. Some weeks they're directionless and uninterested, other weeks they're steamrolling teams.

To my eye, they don't seem particularly cohesive or rehearsed in attack. They're reliant on smashing teams up the middle then scoring points with their speed men as a fatigued defence can't contain their offloading game.

Long kicking and aggressive kick chase is the name of the day. Make them chew up their sets before their forwards get back on side. We don't need to compete head to head through the middle if we make our territory through smart tactical kicking.

Particularly when Kasiano is on the field, he's been a key player in their success. If we can minimise his time in attack, that will go a long way. With the momentum in our favour, we can turn their strength to weakness.

Kick to Poirit or Floppa over Borris, neither makes great metres coming out of their own end. Said it before, but an aggressive kick chase is crucial. More so than the kick in many cases. I'd love to see us competing for bombs, but I'd settle for us mugging their back three the second they receive the ball. Hopefully force a couple of errors.

Reynolds has been their spark the last few weeks, but he's always good for a brain snap. Harass him as much as possible from the kick off, give Blair a licence to seek and destroy.

A good kick chase like we did against the Eels is going to be the most important thing in this game. Macca, Hunt and Milford need to share this load, turn the big Dogs forwards around, trap them in the corners and inside their own 30 as much as possible.

I'm confident we have the speed and skill in the Backs to beat the Dogs, but we really need our forwards to step up and take control. Expecting a big game from Blair and TPJ. I'd love to see TPJ come on and really stamp some authority and throw some muscle around, Taumololololol style.

It's just a hunch but I'm expecting a big game from Roberts this week... A couple of things he did during the Eels game didn't pay off but it looked to me that he is building...

I missed the game but predicted we'd belt Parra after calling a win against the Saints earlier. Sitting here in my hotel in San Francisco wishing I could find a replay ! This game coming is the defining game of the year for us. We must win or go very close in a low scoring affair, anything else and I will call the season's chances are nil

Certainly helped him having a winger outside him who was actually good, he hasn't had that much this season given Kahu's injuries and backline reshuffles.
