I don't understand the love for Simpkin on here. He is so average. I don't wanna sign players who are barely, if at all, better than what we are dealing with now, especially coming from clubs worse off than us.

Paix is definitely a notch above Turpin and Walters - he’s at notch 1

What Paix has done this season is above what either have done in their entire career so there is that.

I think Paix is better than Turpin and Walters, but it does seem like history repeating a bit, as Turpin wasn't McCullough when he originally came in.

It's some sort of ingrained club philosophy thing for mine if they all end up as the same defensive oriented player anyway.

Parker is deadset out for blood since he lost his coaching gig under walters. Hes pissed because the broncs didn't want him, the titans didn't want him and his book has had 5 sales nationally. The club has fixed the roster, brought in some great players and had largely a successful season. Lets not forget, corey Parker was a coach at the broncos at the time we were getting dusted week in week out. He's a dunce

We legit looked like a contender a month ago.
Now we look like peak Seibold Broncos.

Tigers lost a close one today with another refereeing shocker at the end costing them the game.

Same ref as the Cowboys game where the same thing happened.

Maybe a few make-up calls next week with the emotion of playing in Leichhardt could be enough to get them over the Raiders and sneak us into the 8.

As much as I’m dirty about what’s happened the last month and think we don’t deserve to make the finals (and dread the inevitable 40+ point flogging) I do think it would be a good thing for the club to be considered a ‘top 8’ team again leading into next year.

Dobbo & Gordie about an hour in talk about players bitching and "leaking" to the press. Dobbo keeps talking about players outside the 17 who think they should be causing the unrest. I'm guessing he's talking about Tyson Gamble for one, but he's not naming names. Gordie isn't have much truck with it and also says not all playes are equal (in what you expect from their preparation and handling) wrt to Selwyn Cobbo, and cites Wayne Bennett not requiring the same training from Steve Renouf because he'd deliver on the day:

If Lee is unable to play then I'm looking at playing Tesi at centre. He has his defensive flaws at fullback, hes always out of postion . We simple it down for him and might have our own Olam in our hands. Walters was originally planning to play him at centre so he has the training there. Scoring points wins the game and it wasn't as if Lee was doing a great job in defence. We should focus on our attack and see if that gets our aggression going

I also want Piakura to get at least 1 game before the season ends and nows the time for him to show us how much he wants to play 1st grade.
Last thing would definitely be Turpin out, Walters to the bench and Paix to start.
