Hold up.

The general consesus is that Kev hasnt been picking players that are in form or capabale of form.....now that form players could be picked you want him to focus on building a team for next year?
Now turn that sentence around and ask why the club is getting rid of who Kevvie considers our "form players."

Why play Hosking when he's out the door?

Mam is miles ahead of Gamble, unless ARey isn't playing this weekend this doesn't make sense.

Walters and Turpin are the main problem.

not much to replace them with unfortunately (neither in our squad or on the market)

maybe he listened to BHQ's whinging ... and decided to play Gamble (in the only position you can realistically play him).

Mam has had a good season, but he's been struggling for a couple of weeks.

I might be off base here but it wouldn't surprise me if RK was one of the players voicing dissatisfaction with KW and perhaps he , like me was pissed at not getting more opportunities this year. Yeah, not a good thing but at least understandable.

KW has got quite a lot right here this year but Ikin and DD are running the show as far as I can tell and KW only has a short time to show the bosses he's the best coach available. I hope someone gives KW a review and detailed report from within the review so Walters has a somewhat detached perspective to consider.

I thought his bench selections and their use was poor. Not even average. Not the thread though, 🤐

I don't mind resting Mam, but the optics of doing it this week aren't great, makes him look (and maybe feel) like a bit of scapegoat. Hopefully the coaching staff are onto that and letting him know otherwise.

I'll take a flogging if at the end of the game, the tv mics pick up Hunt saying to Carrigan, see you guys at Red Hill next year, can't wait to provide service off the back of your runs mate.

Might be unpopular opinion, but Mam has been overrated as far his half play goes. He does **** all on the fifth tackle and Reyno is under so much pressure to do everything. Tyson is a better option in that regard

He’s just young and inexperienced. I thought the idea this year was to give him exposure to first grade but instead he got picked every week.

Mam is still learning, he'll be a limited half (limited in what will be required of him) for another couple of years while he learns the game.
Doesn't seem like there's much point to dropping him now though, it's literally the last game of the season for the Broncos.

People spend weeks talking up Gamble like he's some sort of boom player that Kevvie doesn't know about, so now Kevvie gives him his shot at the expense of Ezra and people are carrying on even more than they were before hand

Gamble doesn't play anywhere else except in the halves

We can play Gamble in the same role he played against the Titans, which worked well.

Capewell and Hosking are 80 minute players, we really only need two spots on the bench for the props and the other two can be taken by Paix and Gamble.

The ideal sernario would of been Mam off the bench and ease him in, but you can't do that when you don't have a 9 who can play 80.
When Tyson is in the side it frees up Reynolds so much more because he's not the only play making option.

Ezra has been good for a rookie but it has come at the expense of Adam having a bigger target on him I think.
The 9 and 1 also contribute to this aswell.

Through out the season I did keep wondering if mam could have played fullback with his support play and passing. Either Tyson or TMM should have played more 6. Then again mam might not have good defence organisation

I saw an interview of his where he said he played mainly fullback growing up.

I wonder if mam was one the players up set with kevi going off and got dropped for it
