Not fixing the result doesn't make it any more or less of a firable offense. Professional sport is a different microcosm when it comes to workplaces. Yelling isn't a firable offense and to think so is just weird. And you're not entirely right about it not changing anything. A massive part of coaching is psychological, creating passion and intensity, calling out players to get them to step up is a pretty big part of it. Walters might not be good at it, but that's exactly what he's trying to do here.
