Our forward pack has been underwhelming. We lack that tough gritty grinding pack. The balance seems to be off. Usually there’s a mix of exceptional defenders in the second row with tough front rowers or vice versa. The hooker plays the organising role to get the forwards in optimum positions it’s no longer just passing from the ruck. Looking at the top 8 packs they’ve got some solid packs with that blend of forwards. We are missing that organisation and discipline in the forwards.

I think the only correct answers at this point is a new coach. The chopping and changing of the spine late in to the season where we should be perfecting combinations has hammered our attack. We went from avg like 20 ppg to like 6. Defensively we’ve been shaky all year but bad habits showed up like an unwanted dm from an ex. Pieces exist once again just coaching and management have let us down again.

We need new assistant coaches. Kevvie can remain as the figurehead.

There was one stage late in the game where we'd put a kick in, I think Ramsey got the ball and landed in the in-goal, then got up and grounded the ball again in the field of play...isn't a grounding in the in-goal a line dropout? Did anyone else see that?

Aside from how shit we were, Cummins was also atrocious. Honestly, not a SINGLE set restart in the entire game? **** off. Flegler's "binning" should never have been anything of the sort. McGuire got away with a few swinging arms / shoulders to the head which weren't pulled up at all. Broncos admin legitimately need to go hard on the NRL with a "please explain" because - not for the first or even 5th time this year - the officiating was clearly lopsided against us. Certainly not an excuse, but I'm really getting fucking sick of being the ref's punching bag. At least let us suck on a level playing field FFS.

I just can't see how we continue to lose control of the ruck week in week out. At least one of our defenders seem to be left on the ground or well out of position.

Even flegler's hit on Woods. Flegler crunched him but still was left on the ground/behind as Woods was playing the ball.

Our line speed decreased as the year went on, and our ruck control never improved and we missed more tackles as the year went on, not a great sign for our defensive coach.

Our completion rate and pont scoring significantly deteriorated at the end of the year too, not a good sign for our attacking coach either.

A really disappointing end to a year that could have been.

I know he is a grub and a penalty magnet, but this is why I like JWH. People know that if they **** with a roosters player JWH is coming after them. Our pack is missing an enforcer.
