Glen without doubt for mine, someone who can put a shot on Ingliss and get him looking.

I've waited all year for this game, to boo the **** out of inglis. Now it seems noone cares anymore. :(

Yeah. It's history. Still wish someone would have a banner saying "sorry GI, planes aren't flying in the rain"

Well, Te'o can do that too and Gillett would keep him quiet.
I definitely think we need one of them to deal with the Sutton/Taylor/Inglis threat.

I'll be at Suncorp booing the hell out of GI and hoping we put the usual score on 50uff$!

Weather permitting I'll be bringing my girls to their first Broncos match this week. Should be a fast game with lots of points.

I'd like to see the Broncos contain the Rabbitohs. If they can do that then the defence will be looking primed for finals footy. A win's a win, but I'd be a bit disappointed if it's a 32-24 type scoreline.

We don't care anymore cos we are grateful. We have Jack Reed. Boom! Who's played every game. Not like old man Inglis.

Has anyone noticed Teo's timing in defence is a bit off. Whenever GLenn goes off the defence gets a bit scrappy. I'd prefer to keep Glenn tighter in the middle and put Teo out in the centres. Plus he's not as fit. However the Beale/Copley combination isn't bad. And the bench of Anderson/Gillett/Teo/Hunt is pretty fricken awesome.

Problem would be if you want to play Beale and Copley together, then you need to shift Reed to right centre. Not sure it's a good idea to switch them around.

That said, playing Beale in the centres with Yow Yeh on the right scares the **** out of me coming up against Taylor, Inglis, Sutton.

Really think the focus has to be on locking that side down defensively, and so yeah, Te'o, Gillett or Glenn need to fill in for Hodgo. Keep the Reed/Beale combination on the left. It's working well.

Yow Yeh always plays so much better defensively when Hodges is playing. He does go all psycho when Beale is in the centre's with him. Like he doesn't trust him or something. Teo into the centres then. I am loving Gillett's impact off the bench! Front or Back row he's playing great when he comes on.

I know people want to see Gillett play 80 minutes, but his impact off the bench is undeniable. I think that's his best position, especially while we have guys like Thaiday, Parker and Glenn who can play big minutes. Not that Gillett can't play big minutes, but he makes more impact in less time.

And yes, when Yow Yeh has lack of trust in his inside man he tries rushing in too often...and we've seen how that turns out over the last few months...

Don't think Glenn went off last night did he? Nor in other games this season. Anyway...

Gillett is currently doing great work towards the middle of the field so wouldn't put him in the centres. I'd probably start him or Te'o in the back row and Glenn in the centres. Bit more confident there defensively.

Also I understand we'd be expecting Hannant back?

Yep, reports are Hannant was "close" to being ready last night, but giving him another week to be sure.

I'm looking forward to seeing if Reed becomes the go-to man once again with Hodges out. I remember when we were going to him like every second tackle, and he kept on busting tackles and offloading and flick passing in every direction. Was great to see (except when the direction was forward).

Well it should be the case this week. Souths' right side defence is pretty average.

I'd really rather see Glenn in the centres ahead of T'eo.

I don't know if i'm seeing things or not but T'eo looks very tentative with that arm .... like he's still not 100% confident in it.

I'm sure i saw him grab players one-armed in defense last night

I think Inglis might be a bit too much of a handful for him at the moment

I was all for Gillett moving to the centres but youse have convinced me, Glenn should go out there to cover Hodges.
