Strong pack, as you'd expect, but their backline apart from Merritt and Inglis is hardly world beating. Right side (opposing Beale and Reed) will be ripe for picking. Lock down their left side attack (Taylor, Inglis, Sutton) and I think the game is won.

Looking at that team I'm scratching my head to work out how they've won so many in a row

Despite their undoubted fire power, the Wabbits are weally weak defensively. They miss too many tackles, they're soft up the middle. That is where they will lose.

Dragons (out of form), Eels and Raiders (14th and 15th), Cowboys (VERY lucky win)

That's how

Looks like it's going to be another wet one

i was under the impression we'd gone really well in the wet this season (that game against the rabbits doesn't count as that was no normal 'in the wet').

pretty disappointed to see showers predicted. really wanted a nice winter sunny arvo. being that showers are predicted this early means it will probably be fine though

I hope the Storm get up tonight*, will add a dimension to Sunday's game for sure.

* I'm off to scrub myself thoroughly in the shower now...

Stupid Melbourne just had to go lose and take out some of our motivation for winning.

That game may result in some positives for our game against Manly.

With a bit of luck neither Stewart will be there next week.

Not too concerned. We've had quite a few excellent wins in the wet (twice against Newcastle, Penrith, Canterbury and Penrith from memory). If anything it could limit the damage Merritt and Sandow could cause.

We can still get second if we, for example, beat Souths by 20 and beat Manly by 40 ;-)

Let's just beat souths by 60 and manly by 10
