We need to have scouts at every QLD Cup and Toyota Cup matches. Find the best half going around and sign him. A back or two wouldn't hurt either.
 
Well I guess not that it's any consultation, we only have one more week of heartache left.
 
Has Hoffman forgotten how to play? He is less than a shadow of his early season form.

Exactly. I think all the success the Broncos have had over years deserves to go to people like Connell as much as it does to people like Bennett. Connell was a boss at what he did. To see the quality of people that were at his funeral speaks volumes of the man and his talents.

F**K the warriors ... its about time the broncos pushed their way to the front of the line with this sort of stuff .. are we only interested if no other clubs are interested ?? It's a dog eat dog world ffs ...

There was a time when this club was brutally honest about it's shortcomings on the field and went out and did something about them in the player market ... those days are long gone

As far as Craig Bellamy goes, the old administration dropped the ball in a big way with him when they had the chance to get him a few years ago ... Even if we're in the same spot as this next year, I don't expect they'll even approach him

couple of things struck me while watching the first half

Can somebody tell me the last time we came out really really pumped up for a big game ... where we bashed the opposition, showed real intent and it was obvious that the coach had done a sterling job in the build up ? ... I seriously can't remember it happening under any coach ... must be a long long time ago

During the week, Mark Gasnier said (and I have no respect for Gasnier, think he is full of bull generally) that he expected the Broncos to dominate for the next 5 years because we have so many great young players ... I gotta say, I can't really see it happening ... they are a good bunch and may well turn into immortals ... but I think we should be seeing more this year in their collective development if that dominance in the future was likely to occur

I reckon we need a couple of fresh faces every couple of years which we never get due to developing our own ... we have to be the slowest team in the comp ... and we look stale

Last i remember was that final a few years ago against the dragons where ashton sims and nick kenny singled out poore and smashed him all night
