Just on the hit....Walsh is one tough son of a bitch. Tapine absolutely drills him into next week but just gets straight up and goes over to him to congratulate the hit.

Not defending Staggs' brainsnap moment but.... If you watch the replays closely, you will notice Rapana gets up straight away not even looking at Staggs. If Staggs fairly elbowed him in the jaw, he would have been looking to square up Staggs don't you think?
I still think he'll do time for it unless Rapana comes to the judiciary to say he wasn't actually elbowed in the head.

Strangely enough I thought we played pretty well. As another poster said if we had a proper kicker we're 36+. We were a constant nuisance all night, just lacked the maturity at times and resorted to trying to score on every play.

Don't have a problem with the Walsh hit. Didn't have a problem when hodges hit Morris either - it's a bit unsporting but it's fair game. No harm done and everyone can move on.

Hopefully the return of patty and Reynolds reigns in that youthful exuberance just a fraction.

To think at various times people on here have written us off, probably before a game was even played after our collapse many experts didn't even have us in the 8.
