POST GAME [Round 26, 2023] Broncos vs Raiders

It's ironic considering the bitching those blokes were doing about the players not doing interviews. Oh not the camera on a coach on the sideline. How dare they...

Apparently he twisted his knee slightly underneath himself when he landed on it after his dive. Maybe he needs to put the spectacular dives for the camera away.

Bingo.......I've been waiting for some of these fuckwit superman try dives to go astray. Ideally though I wasn't expecting it to be Walsh.....
and a dropped ball, instead of injury, would have been my preference. (again...not Walsh)

You're over the try line fellas.....just get the fucken ball on the ground
the safest way possible.

I hear you man, I cringe everytime a team mate comes up behind the try scorer and wraps his arms around their chest and then lifts them in the air....................it's a rib cartilage injury waiting to happen.

Not sure if this has already been posted but really interesting and worth a watch. It also shines a light on the endless stream of mealy-mouthed crap that pours out of Stuart's mouth after every defeat. During his presser he says that Jared Maxwell is a good bloke who has had the power taken off him ... JM asked about this in the vid ... shrugs his shoulders and says "nah" ... Ricky Stuart deflects blame more than Trump !! ... recommend you guys give this a watch

Ricky was talking about the story that has been around that Maxwell doesn't appoint the refs to games and someone above him makes the call.

Which just seems like something plenty of posters on here would love and push like no man's business.

I don't go in for these types of stories but seems strange we wheel him out this week to show he's a big deal. Has he been seen at all this year?

Off the top of my head (sorry I’m at work at the moment). Raiders fullback contested a kick and was bumped off the ball before he caught the ball. Called a knock on and we were given the ball back. Raiders player went through the line and support player was grabbed early on suspicion. I’m play broke down the next tackle. And the third was a play the ball infringement that we received the call for but I wasn’t convinced.
Cheers mate, I'll look for these while I watch the replay :)

Kevvie saw it for what it was.

"Reece was half mucking around on the field so he got a little bit of medicine there," Walters conceded. "We've got to get that stuff at the back end of his game, out of his game."
Kev has a history (and a good one) of always putting the responsibility of the player/team. I love this attitude as it helps the team/player grow.
But this doesn't take away from the fact it wasn't necessary in any way, and lacked both sportsmanship and class.

When I was 15 I had a coach absolutely smash me because I slowed up before the drill was fully over and then gave it to me for not playing the whistle, so I've got a strong (mentally scarred) opinion on always playing the whistle.

For what it's worth, Capewell and Reynolds were both glad he got smashed and thought he deserved it. Walsh was also grinning at the Raider's players as he slowed up so in my opinion he was absolutely asking for it.
