POST GAME [Round 26, 2023] Broncos vs Raiders

When that camera is beaming live into people`s homes .
Then , no it`s not OK . They tuned in to watch a foot ball match . Not a mentally ill person swearing down the camera lens .
Nice touch....

Agree with this.
It's one thing having the cameras on you in the box and swearing , that's on them, but when you look down the barrel of the camera and let fly that's completely different.
But hey Ricky's a good bloke so that's all good.

Not to mention the NRL have previously sanctioned players for writing profanity on their wrist tape

That just balances out the fact they were allowed to lie in the ruck all night slowing t he **** out of our PTB.
There were at least 2 calls I recall that went against us, the Cobbo knock0on where he regathered and then the accidental offside from a Mam kick where they rules play on. Plus at least 3 knock-ons in the play the ball which on another night could have been a penalty.

The shot on Walsh was 100% pure dog act. The game was over. I've lost count of the number of times a game is over (by which I mean seconds to go and impossible for the result to change) and the opposition will just come in and gently 'tackle' (by which I virtually mean hug) the player with the ball to simply end the game. It's called sportsmanship and class.
That tackle was designed to do 1 thing and 1 thing only, injure Walsh. It only failed because Walsh is 1 tough bugger.
When Hodgo did something similar to Morris we never heard the end of it, but now it's all good?
Piss off.

The unsuccessful challenge was bullshit too. It was ruled that the defender was only holding the ball, and when our player ripped their arms back to play it, the ball came out (there was no stripping action). That's all good, but the "held" call was at least 2-3 seconds before that, the defender just wouldn't let go.

I'd like to know what they are
Off the top of my head (sorry I’m at work at the moment). Raiders fullback contested a kick and was bumped off the ball before he caught the ball. Called a knock on and we were given the ball back. Raiders player went through the line and support player was grabbed early on suspicion. I’m play broke down the next tackle. And the third was a play the ball infringement that we received the call for but I wasn’t convinced.

No, they got exactly what they wanted- they wanted the emotion and reaction and they got it.

It's like the stump mics- don't put them there and then complain when you hear something.

If Ricky had sworn at the ref or touchie then you have to act but just swearing at a camera no.
......just swearing at the camera? In a sense.......he is using foul language in front of millions of TV viewers, of which many would be children. I wonder how little Johnny's mother feels about it after little Johnny told her to "**** off" the next morning, after she's asked him to make his bed.

Ricky has to be fined......for bringing the game into disrepute, if nothing else.

Kevvie saw it for what it was.

"Reece was half mucking around on the field so he got a little bit of medicine there," Walters conceded. "We've got to get that stuff at the back end of his game, out of his game."

Was it Staggs lifting him up then dropping him that hurt his knee ?
Seemed fine until then .

He then turned up late for the press because in his own words he was pissed off .
Press conference then turned into conspiracy central . NRL don`t want The Raiders to play a GF ! .

Delusion
A delusion is a false fixed belief that is not amenable to change in light of conflicting evidence. As a pathology, it is distinct from a belief based on false or incomplete information, confabulation, dogma, illusion, hallucination, or some other misleading effects of perception, as individuals with those beliefs are able to change or readjust their beliefs upon reviewing the evidence.

The other brother has now said sorry.

FoxSports boss Steve Crawley has contacted the NRL in support of Ricky Stuart after conceding the broadcaster crossed the line by getting in the face of the Canberra coach at the weekend.
Stuart is facing sanctions from the NRL after appearing to swear directly at a camera at GIO Stadium on Sunday afternoon, although there have also been suggestions he said “back off” rather than “f..k off”.

Regardless of the language used, Crawley revealed he had spoken to Stuart and apologised on behalf of FoxSports for invading his personal space.

He also confirmed that he had reached out to Abdo to accept their share of blame for the incident.

“I spoke to Ricky this morning and apologised to him,” Crawley said.

“I also spoke to Andrew Abdo and Graham Annesley.

“I have an agreement with Ricky that we don’t get in his face when he is on the sidelines.

“We’re also writing to (Canberra chief executive) Don Furner to apologise to the club for being in his face.

Fucking lol... so does this mean they wont be filming any coaches anymore??

They always film a coach when they come down to the sideline... guess they'll have to stop that now.
