Round 26 - Broncos vs Panthers - Post Match Discussion

Without doubt need to watch a replay but being at the game on a fantastic day for the club but proud of the boys to arrest the slump & come up with the big plays when they mattered.

Wallace stuck it to the haters (guilty) and delivered a performance we've been asking for. Awesome, Hannant was the man & the likes of Show, Te'o, Glenn, Copley delivered. Civo is a legend and anybody who disagrees should dead-set join a souless bullshit Bulldogs bandwagon.

Couldn't agree more

That was a terrible performance. Glad we make the finals, disappointed that that will be taken to mean this year doesn't need a serious internal review.

Honestly, to have had the possession we had and then be down 0-6 at half time against a team that was clearly just there making up the numbers is really bad. Then to drop the ball off the kick off in the second half.

The first half try they scored was from a line break, right through the guts.

C'mon mate, you really think there won't be a serious review into the season anyway?

Also, the award for the biggest arse I have ever seen goes to that woman that did the post game presentation in the red top.

She's taken out Dave Taylor's mortgage on that award.

That would be Victoria Carthew.

Junk in the trunk, just means more to to hold on to!

YTF did they keep going to Reed all night, particularly in the second half when Hodgo and Beale were unmarked practically the whole time. It was so frustrating. Yes, Reed is a great player and was a gun last night...but surely they could have gone to Hodgo more often? Especially when they finally get him the ball in space he sets up a try. FFS, so frustrating!!!

Also, there was a sweeping backline play with Beale/Reed open in the first half and the ball got to Norman, Hoffy was running behind him expecting the ball and it would have been 3 on 1 pretty much and Norman kept doing scotty prince little dummy's and Hoffman clearly had NFI when he was going to recieve the ball and the play shut down. I wonder how much this has to do with Hoffman's poor form, because last year with Locky running the show Hoffy was a gun fullback and we all rated him highly.

It was the first game I got to this year so got to see things I haven't all year. Especially since the tickets we got from Gus were on the 4th row on the 40-50m line! epic!

Thank God we won!

You'd jump at anything with a vajayjay...

Do you mean Saxxon Rice (Member for Mt Coot-tha) who gave the speech?

On the match itself - not a lot we can take from it apart from the two points. Some good flashes from Wallace and Norman (especially that last pass for Glenn) but it's more the exception than the norm which is still a worry.

Don't think I saw enough on Friday to fill me with any confidence for this weekend.

Yeah I hope that one pass from Norman doesn't have people thinking he's a gun, has he thrown a cutout for a try this year? Seems way to scared to throw the pass or he just can't.

Glenn ran the most perfect line for that try.
