Nothing is impossible in the NRL but if they fail to make 4th, you can categorically write them off.

With the injuries some of the top teams have I can see them doing it from outside the 4.

So what did being on the leash involve? Just practicing defending and kicking for opportunities? If Milf has been coasting this entire time, I can't wait to see what he does on the big stage of finals.

I think it would be more your not just right side left side with the halves. He also has the ability to roam around the field and run a play if he sees an opportunity straight off the bat.

So whats the plan with glenn missing a game. Our forward stocks a little low amd im not really sure where this leaves us to be honest. I dont know if oates could do 80mins at 2nd row currently.

Just throwing it out there but could jack reed play 2nd row bring kahu in off the wing and have oates maranta as the wingers? Too crazy?

I just can't help but look over my shoulder still. Any team with Cronk and Smith calling the shots still has to be taken seriously imo. Although I would be surprised if they got to the Grand Final or even the 3rd week of the finals for that matter.

He might be able to. And he might do a fine job of it this week if given the chance. But I'd hate to see us lose one on the buzzer because he gets exposed due to fatigue.

The last 15 or 20 mins of the Rabbitohs game Bennett left the bench forwards on the park, obviously because the game was won, but it was also a good chance to give them increased minutes, make sure they handle the fatigue, and see if any of them start leaking. I don't know if throwing Oates in that situation is a good idea, especially as it will be a position that he's not been playing week-in, week-out in the top grade.

They are a shadow of their former self. I've got no worries in playing them.

Without Slater, the Storm seem more vunerable.

Smith and Cronk organise, but Slater is the sweeper/terrrier.

Munster does a good impersonation, but he's a young bloke coming throuhg.

Finally the club plays the judiciary game properly (baffles me they didn't do it with Reed).
We can do without Glenn this round, and I feel much better going in the finals without a stupid low level offence ruling him in a finals match.

Basically them saying we're not pleading guilty (so no 25% reduction) but also not bothering to fight it, and rightly so because we never win anything at the judiciary. It's always been an option AFAIK, just rarely used because teams in that situation usually fight it, you know like the Roosters who always win.

Works out nicely in this case because Glenn is back to 0 so goes into the finals with a clean sheet.

WE won't know til he does. The coaching staff will 100% know if he can or not. Si when they know, we'll know for sure

It's been the Friday game for the past couple of years.

I thought it was Sunday because it's listed last on the schedule I was looking at, but it appears that's not the case.

I don't think Oates on the wing against cronk and smith kicking game. Maranta is a lot safer. Give him a chance! Play him at 2nd row he is our future!
