This whole second tier cap has become bit of a joke.

Are clubs trying to exploit it and coming up short? Or are the rules really that stringent?

It's crazy that in years gone by we've seen teams play 38 players and this year struggle to play 30.

Pumped for tonight's game, want the Roosters to win but I think Souths will be hungry for their first minor premiership since 1989.

The last time they held the J.J. Giltinan shield aloft was in 1971 when they won their last premiership.

The Roosters are declining at the wrong end of the season. Despite having a roster to die for, their inconsistencies are being exposed and I don't think they have the best talent in key positions to perform under the pressures of finals football. They head into tonight's game with more motivation than Souths and that may get them over the line but I get the feeling that their season is cooked. They've had quite the year all things considered, but this wouldn't be the first time the Roosters clucked too early.

Souths should be too strong across the park for the Roosters. I expect them to be our minor premiers but conflicted on whether I want them to be our premiers. They have one of the best stories heading into the Grand Final, with only Manly + North Queensland rivalling it but as a Broncos fan I don't think I can support the club which stole a key player right from under us.

This game should be an absolute cracker. Despite the Roosters in a bit of a slump I won't be at all surprised if they win. Souths haven't really beaten top teams and a couple of losses can be the perfect wake up call. Shame I have to record it and watch it later on tonight.

Go Roosters

Sharks resting half their team lol

I think Roosters are a decent chance tonight, but no chance to be premiers.

Clinton Gutherson & Jake Trbojevic to debut for the Sea Eagles.

Be prepared to be even more jealous of Manly. :glare:

NSW halves of present vs. NSW halves of next.

My reaction: Yes please!

Best fullback in the game vs one of the worst.

Best fullback in the game vs one of the worst.

Can't believe he's going around again next year, RTS at fullback would make them so much more dangerous.

That GI try was sweet, Mundine Guy on Mundine Guy and GI just MONSTERS his way over.

Both teams look like they have stage fright.
