Staggs....a huge loss?
Yeah but I'm sure everyone understands we are playing for the Premiership, plus if Storm is also resting it should be close, hopefully we see some debuts like Mozer and maybe Te Kura.I get resting players for finals. It completely makes sense for both teams but...
I feel bad for the fans hoping to see two top teams littered with stars. It's down to single tickets only so we're talking, what, 45k+ fans? They'll most likely see at least half of each team fielding reserves.
Doesn't do it justice.
I did not. When?
Hopefully people aren't reading Badel for his opinions.Badel also reporting that it's a major blow to the credibility of the NRL’s final round of matches,
I think so, yes. I think anyone replacing him would make us significantly weaker. Jesse, Deloise, etc. I rate him more of a loss than Herbie, but others might differ.Staggs....a huge loss?
oh ha ha.Round 12, Round 23 and most recently, Round 26.
Just on the subject of all the dropped balls, I was impressed with Canberra's stealth stripping by targetting the ball carrier's arm. Didn't win the game for them, but we would've ripped them a new arsehole if we'd have been able to control the ball.Last weeks first half aside, i would rate staggs a huge loss.

I think the final round would be less credible if teams were forced to field their full-strength side for the fans' sake. The top 4 teams have earned their right to rest players and this doesn't make the final round any less credible. A round being credible and fans being disappointed are two different things.I don't see how he's wrong.

any relation to david? pretty obscure last nameHowarth and Faalogo on debut.
Faalogo is super quick and been in great form.
Exactly. If you are going to have a finals series this is going to happen - it happens in every sport that is decided by playoff games. Don't want it to happen, then get rid of the finals and make the minor premiership the major premiership. Of course then you run the risk of the comp being over weeks out from the last game, taking the meaning out of many games...
