Its a fight to field the weakest team.Katoa and Warbrick both rested now too
Going to be a fun match for the times i think. Wont be expecting class, but hopefully grit and talent.

It's like a game of chicken. The Storm really want to lose and play us next week, and we really want to lose and play the Warriors.Katoa and Warbrick both rested now too
And Penrith might want to loose too against Cows & fancy Warriors in Week 1 .It's like a game of chicken. The Storm really want to lose and play us next week, and we really want to lose and play the Warriors.

Kevvie doesn’t have that mentality, his mentality is no more injuries, or suspensions or 11 day concussion stand downs this close to the finals. That’s all it is yet people can’t just take things at face value and need to find their own narratives. It's unlikely we play Warriors.
They have rested a bunch of their star players (AFB, CNK, DWZ, Johnson, Harris, Egan), Storm win and they overtake them. Meanwhile Panthers have named everyone, they could still make changes before gameday but if we lose, they will go for that top spot.
Gotta say if that's the mentality that Kevvie has, that's a problem. If we're afraid of playing Storm, I don't see how we can call ourselves contenders.
And to do it twice in a row tooLet's go Broncos! Crazy to think that we're going to end Melbourne's season by putting 50 on them.

The curse does not care for trivialities.I don't think that whole 50 point curse counts tonight if that happens.
It's their reserve grade side.
I'm ok if we win or lose this game now that it's become a reserve grade match.Where is this idea we are scared of playing anyone including the Storm coming from? Resting players is the smart thing to do here and has three benefits:
1. No risk of injury or suspension to our main guys
2. Allows us to go in to finals fresh and firing
3. We are debuting a bunch of our kids and giving them a taste and extra motivation to hit preseason running
Additionally, finishing first or second is basically no difference and we can’t finish any lower than either position, so why risk injuring our stars against guys who don’t care if they get suspended because they won’t be playing next week anyway? And let’s not act like Bellamy would be above giving one of these reserve players the task of maiming a Walsh, Mam or Reynolds.
People went from the minor premiership means nothing to I can't believe Kev is resting players so fast they must have whiplash.
