Over the last few years there's typically been some cat and mouse when top teams come up against each other.
Suddenly in a Panthers vs storm match... one side will have a bunch of 1 week injuries that have to be rested... Hughes, etc. that end up sitting out.
It's like one side will decide to sacrifice the game to avoid showing their hand until the big finals games are happening.
There could be a sense of that this week.
Storm could still move up to 3rd... but realistically they're not moving all that much so they might trot out a weak team for this game and start planning for Broncos week 1... which is a great match up for them.
