Apology accepted........I agree that is totally being a complete "fuckstick".

You were calling forum members dumb and idiots for thinking we shouldn't rest players, and then got stroppy when somebody called you dumb back. This whole conversation started with me saying it would be organisational malpractice to not rest your players if their position is set. I agree that is totally being a complete "fuckstick". Deadset.
No. I was calling the idea of not resting players dumb and idiotic and then got "stroppy" as you call it when somebody said that there is no evidence from sports scientists in team sport that resting is beneficial. Result wise and the human body. That is just a lie. And I called it out because it is idiotic. Not apologising for that. If you want to argue a stupid view well then.... you deserve to be called outYou were calling forum members dumb and idiots for thinking we shouldn't rest players, and then got stroppy when somebody called you dumb back.
Are you always like this, or just when Cowboys are sliding down the ladder?

Our late season bye for me means we should attack it, without it there is the argument to rest, but this is Storm a team we have historically struggled with, I think a win for this matters more, we have o go for it.My opinion on beating Storm and on resting players is the following
Resting players:
I would give Reynolds, Capewell, and Walsh another week off for a few reasons. Firstly, Canberra will be desperate and will be a cold and gritty affair with high chance of injury - especially to play makers. I also think we would still field a team capable of winning. Reynolds and Capewell both seem to have ongoing injuries that need managing and a 2 week break before the finals would be huge for them, we will desperately require their experience come finals. Id have them all return for the Storm game which is the perfect warm up for the finals. This would also have the added benefit of giving more game time to Sailor and Madden in case they are required to cover someone.
1. Walsh > Sailor
7. Reynolds > Madden
11. Capewell > Piakura
Beating storm:
I would go full strength for this game so we enter finals with momentum. Our terrible record against the storm over the last decade has been partly due to us trying to out storm the storm. If you look at the sides that Storm have struggled with over the years it is the teams that play rough and take risks in attack - especially targeting their budget edges. We no longer play Bennett (or even worse, Griffen) ball. We attack from every point on the field, relentlessly testing edge defenders. Our current style perfectly suits the Storms weaknesses. If we are ever going to beat them this is the time.
You may be agreeing with me but just to clarify I want to rest players v Canberra not StormOur late season bye for me means we should attack it, without it there is the argument to rest, but this is Storm a team we have historically struggled with, I think a win for this matters more, we have o go for it.
ah Canberra is meh lol, rest who ever, Storm is different gravy. You may be agreeing with me but just to clarify I want to rest players v Canberra not Storm
I haven't noticed ARey's niggles.......if anything I thought he was in pretty good nick, for him?My opinion on beating Storm and on resting players is the following
