The game last week was a gut buster to even watch, the players must have been exhausted, glad it's a 7 day turn around

We have a lot of hype at the moment so it's not really that surprising. First time in 2+ years we have some hope and don't look like a complete basket case. Also Areyn's first home game.

Would love to see us put a big score up today. It would ease the pain of having to work 12hrs and miss watching it live.

But if the boys are in a dog fight again, I can live with it. As long as we win.

It's a strange feeling coming into games not thinking we are as good as beat. I expect a win today and haven't felt like this in a long time. Makes me nervous.

12 hours? Horrible isn't it? My job is 7x12 day 7x12 night but then two weeks off.
Not sure I could stand a full season of close games and scratchy wins but I would put up with it!

it is a nice change to be sure. But I think a lot of us are still cautiously optimistic , we have been scarred over these last couple of years and I know im personally just waiting for another flogging and us all to be saying what the hell went wrong.

Think the thing that worries me most is although our scramble defense has been good our edge defense has looked ordinary and our ruck control is still alot to be desired.

we have been a tad bit lucky the last few games that our opposition could not capitalise on it. I think i will start feeling better once we see improvement in those 2 areas.

the attack side of things dont worry me that will always come with time.

Thank goodness for whatever reason, the powers that be have decided that Vlandys was killing the game and decided to do something about it.

We all know how impressionable the refs are so I really hope the crowd is in full voice today to counter the inherent Cowboys bias that always happens.

The adjustments to the 6-again rule have been game changing this year don't forget that. The proof is in the pudding with the lack of blowouts and close matches compared to the past 2 years.

Not saying we would've been top 8 in the past 2 seasons. But the new 6-again rule ruined us after that covid break. You can see how less dominate certain players are now too without that bs.
