I agree with most of this but yourself and a few others keep going on about not being aware of the short kickoff. This is not true. I was at the game and the players all prepared on that side for the short kickoff before the Roosters got back to halfway. They could see which side all their players were coming up. They were just ineffectual in getting the ball before the Roosters. Unfortunately the Roosters had the forward momentum with tall players coming through and were always greater than a 50/50 chance of getting the ball back to their own playersIt was an entertaining game but there are definitely some things to work on. I still think concentration and confidence are our two main issues. Failing to complete a set after scoring is bad enough once but for it to happen twice in a game (and having the opposition score on both occasions) is completely unacceptable. That and failing to be aware of the short kick off (seriously?!?) just points to lack of concentration.
Also, I still detect confidence issues when matching it with the top teams. I get the impression we're just happy to go with them rather than go for the win. That needs to change. I hope it's not a loss that comes back to haunt us.
