... and once, just once for a refreshing change, I'd like to see Milford chase his own kicks.A kicks only as good as it’s chase as they say. I’ve seen good kicks have absolutely no pressure on them this year which has been disappointing.
Yeah he should catch them on the full and score under the posts every time. After all he is paid a million dollars a year
I haven’t noticed he doesn’t chase his kicks other than the fact that nobody seems to (so I guess he doesn’t lol). And yeah last week is hanging over everyone’s heads with how bad he was but most were happy with round one. He needs to have a good game tomorrow and play well moving forward. I just think he gets nit picked to death on here.I'm not saying that but I do get your point. For me, it is a matter of desire or apparent lack of it, which I feel is Milf's biggest problem, and unless he shows passion and urgency he is done.

We have one of the shortest teams in the NRL,But what happens if those heads are replaced with further headless bodies?
Just about every kick he's made he gets tackled afterwards, it just doesn't seem practical to expect the kicker to lead the chase as well. Maybe if we were kicking off the front foot instead of getting belted to shit then kicking under pressure.... and once, just once for a refreshing change, I'd like to see Milford chase his own kicks.
Edit: missed your post @theshed - spot on
Terrible is a stretch, he just wasn't as visible as the first half. The entire team went to shit, you know when we leaked 4 or 5 tries. But it's just Milf turned to shit is the rhetoric.I was impressed with his first half round 1, I thought his second half was terrible, and I’ve been fairly neutral about Milf. The guy needs a change of scenery.

He gave us a chance to win the game with his line break in the second half as well.
He was terrible last week though no doubt.
I was wondering to myself the other night what would have happened if Milf ended up signing with Melbourne for 2018 onwards. Munster wasn't performing like he is now back then. I wonder if Munster would have ended up as good if he came here and had to deal with pies or if he'd have ended up in a dumpster fire as well and it was Milf winning premierships with the storm. For me, one of the benchmark 5/8 is Munster. He is in everything, and is always looking to involve himself. And last night, he looked like he was enjoying himself as well. It's that level of desire I want to see from Milf, and soon. He has all the skills, the talent, the experience but to me, he looks like he is just not enjoying his footie, which means he cannot be at his best until he does. His career is right on the line.
Fair enough, I do notice the good more than the bad with players I like. Same as everyone I guess.Yeah he wasn’t stand out bad, the whole team went to shit but he failed to do his job. He has no game management ability. It wasn’t just that he was uninvolved, he made continuously poor choices which mounted pressure on the team and got us caught in that reoccurring negative cycle.
I definitely think Milford to an extent is a victim of this club. As you said, had he gone to Melbourne or even stayed in Canberra who knows. I think the obvious instability at this club, coupled with unrealistic expectations, and trying to make him something he wasn’t has turned him into a massive what if story. But the ship has sailed, I don’t think he’ll ever be anything more than what he is now, at least at this club.Fair enough, I do notice the good more than the bad with players I like. Yup it's at the point though I think people are deathriding him. ****, I know what a deathride is as I did it to Pies all last year.I definitely think Milford to an extent is a victim of this club. I reckon he'll go to 7 , and move Croft to 9 to give Turpin a rest . Who stays in the halves is who ever is performing the best.In other news Chris Garry saying Dearden off the bench has been confirmed.
Very curious how he is used but if it is as a traditional utility or for limited minutes I will be that off Kev.
