Dearden is replacing Asiata. FFS.
In other news Chris Garry saying Dearden off the bench has been confirmed.
Very curious how he is used but if it is as a traditional utility or for limited minutes I will be that off Kev.
Not saying that size is everything but I completely agree with you. We have Niu, Milford, Isaako, Croft, Turpin, Mead and now Dearden.Bigger body on the bench would have been ideal. Oates should have got the gig incase of HIA in the backs.
Too many small bodies out there and we giving the doggies a sniff of victory.
We play tomorrowIf Dearden plays a short spell tonight does that rule him out playing a QCup game this week?
What's the point in letting Dearden start the season to QCup to work on his game just to put him on the bench for short stints instead? Learning to dominate the lower grades will do much more for his development than a few minutes at a position he's never going to play.
We play tomorrow
The only positive way to look at this is that Tom played well and through Asiata’s injury a spot became available, and this is essentially a reward for his efforts.
I still think it’s stupid.
The microchips don’t have COVID, COVID is just a smokescreen to implant the microchips. DuhWithout sounding like a 5G-hating conspiracy theorist nut...
Seems to me that Kev wanted to bring Dearden into the team and Asiata's neck was a convenient excuse, I think Asiata is probably fine to play.. He hasn't missed any training this week? Seems like giving him a week's rest was the easiest, least suspicious way to get Dearden into the team.
... oh and Asiata's neck hurts because that's where Bill Gates injected him with a tracking microchip infected with covid.

Makes sense to me , both our halves played crap last week. This is the best way to try and get the best out of them, to me it says that you have to perform or your gone . And if we have to ride the game out like last week we're going to lose, at least this gives another option on the run and someone to give Turpin a break if anything else. The only positive way to look at this is that Tom played well and through Asiata’s injury a spot became available, and this is essentially a reward for his efforts.

He was fairly busted by the end last week, still could do with a 15 - 20 minute breakSo is he going to be playing Ball Playing Lock(3rd Playmaker)? or Kevvie ready to hook one of the halves, Turpin has really stepped up this year and become an 80 min hooker so that is covered.
