Playing Stagg there could bite us in the arse but it's in line with Griffin's 'keeping the same team together as much as possible despite form or tactics' mentality.

I just hate how whenever we have an injury in the centres Griffin's response is "who is the strongest defender I can put there to replace them". Just once I'd like to see him think "alright, who can I put there that's going to make something happen"?

Yep. Bring Parker in to defend in the centres, Hoffman to pretend he's playing prop, Gillett to defend the bench and Griffin to look for another job.

Really isn't any benefit in playing Gillet in the centres either. It hasn't worked in the past.

Don't get me wrong mate, I agree and I would prefer an actual centre/winger there... I just think that is why they made that decision.

Yeah they do with injuries. How many different positions has hinchcliffe played? Smith a halfback? apparently he is sometimes. This sortof thing isn't unique to the broncos

I'm not going to go through old footage to determine whether he was defensively liable for all the tries scored against us or whether he was rotated in the match.
