Hey Hammo, did you go to rego night tonight? My mixed team was playing a sudden death semi at 7. Were down 4-1 in the second half, came back to level at full time and then lost in golden shower extra time. Grrr.

beads6: the objective is not to win the comp (though that'd be nice). It's to get out there, have some fun and get to know BHQ members away from the forum a bit.

Hammo: good idea to catch up this weekend. The mixed rep team I'm in have training Sunday afternoon, 3pm at Shawsportz, Wooloowin. Maybe we can meet there? I'm not playing in the nationals so I'm not essential for training, not for all of it anyway, and they'd probably appreciate having a team to play against for a bit of training.

Who's in?

Yes, it'd mean you'd have to tape the Broncos game. That's what I'm doing.

I can't commit to play every week. I'll definitely play some fill in games (i.e. > a couple) for the $10 thing mentioned. I just wouldn't be able to make that drive every week.

No worries!

I still need 12 people who will pay up front.
I could get away with 10, but the cost would be $100 each! Youch! (yes, team rego is $990 - I don't see the point asking for $99, multiples of $5 FTW).

Currently have 8 confirmed, 2 close to confirmed, 2 pretty sure so 12 is looking likely. Also have 2 part timers now.

However, as I said yesterday, if anyone else wants to commit to paying up front and playing full time (which means coming most weeks, I don't expect EVERY Monday, people have lives) then you'll get preference over people who are umming and ahhing.
