I fear that Niu will never be dropped in the short run as the club will look like clowns for letting go isaako only to drop his replacement a week later.
Also let Arthars head over to Warriors, who would've added to fullback depth

1. Tesi Niu
2. Corey Oates
3. Kotoni Staggs
4. Herbie Farnworth
5. Selwyn Cobbo
6. Albert Kelly
7. Adam Reynolds
8. Pat Carrigan
9. Cory Paix
10. Payne Haas
11. Piakura/Riki
12. Kurt Capewell
13. Kobe Hetherington
14. Billy Walters
15. Tom Flegler
16. Keenan Palasia
17. TC Robati/ Corey Jensen

Big Issues:
- Reynolds looked like he was sulking more than leading and needs to pull his head in

- Discipline… Like **** me we have the players to beat every team in the comp. Every team. Discipline is all it fucken takes to be in a game

- that right edge is a fucken joke both offensively and defensively. Reynolds had a shocker both sides of the ball. Cobbo suffered from his inside mens incompetency big time. They all lack heart. Don’t even get me started on Kotoni. Only bloke who gets a pass from that edge Is Keenan who just copped the short end of the stick with a full stint at prop and then in the edge which he just wasn’t good enough for.

- This fucken fan base. Calm down your inflated expectations made you vulnerable to such an outcome. Any fucken idiot who didn’t see the exact same issues as last year from the Dogs game just needs to stop watching rugby league. You all jizzed your Broncos underwear because we won a game that we played dog shit in (no pun intended). You looked past that and expected we would come out and wipe the floor with the team that convincingly won against a far superior team than us last week. As for these changes pull your fucken heads in the only player that genuinely could possibly be dropped is Turpin and James.

Just please I beg that every person in this footy club just use their heads. Players, staff, recruitment team, and us the fans. It was disappointing but what was even more disappointing is the way you all acted because you were foolish enough to not see it coming. Yes I’m not saying I didn’t think we would win because I did but I well and truely knew this result was not to far around the corner to come smack us in the face. All it takes is for the opposition to come with energy and they have a game on their hands because not only do we have none we get flustered by the opposition having it.

Cannot see any way we can beat the Warriors. We are favourites too. I think the 2.50 currently on offer is great value.

I just dont see the harm at all in just taking him out of the team for a game when he has been as poor as he has been. The break could be just what he needs. We have a squad with some decent depth now so it could be how he needs to be managed after his injury.

We just have to change how we use him. Theres a bloody good footballer there.

There is, no doubt about it, but he's just off his game. Hes has had some big moments he's getting wrong so far. I dont see the harm after his injury in being a bit cautious and pulling him out of the firing line for a game or 2.

Plenty of ways of beating them as they are mainly a team of plodders as well. But on current form of the past two weeks, it will be a struggle. Kodi and Walsh will exploit the many yawning gaps in the defensive line.

Kevvie was actually quite positive in the press conference, Reynolds looked absolutely devastated.

I watched the Warriors go round and they weren't terrible. I think they'll be very hard to beat.

To be fair, for the Broncos every team is going to be sure to beat.

Crazy to think though that despite a horror show yesterday, the team could still be 3-1.

Well...that was depressing BUT time for a new team list!

1. Farnworth
2. Oates
3. Lee
4. Cobbo
5. Pereira
6. Kelly
7. Reynolds
8. Haas
9. Paix
10. Carrigan
11. Capewell
12. Robati
13. Hetherington

14. Walters
15. Palasia
16. Flegler
17. Piakura

I would go with this.
I think KW needs a Team Selection Assistant Coach, and I vote that role goes to @Sproj

Gotta pull the Turdpin for this match and put in Paix or Billy as 9.

We have a huge development issue with spine players, it needs to be fucking fixed.
I think our biggest issue with development in general but it is most obvious in the spine is that we seem to recruit and retain based on athletic ability over any kind of intelligence or footy IQ. They just seem to want these athletic freaks rather than good footy players.

After thinking on it overnight, I really am leaning toward not having wholesale changes. This is a young team and I do not want to excuse such a poor performance yesterday BUT this team has also been vastly improved over the backend of last season and early this season, so the majority should have a chance to make amends.

To me the glaring issues are (and its all been said) Turpin at 9, Niu at 1 and the bench (maybe more accurately, usage of said bench). Now Flegs back next week will help immensely with this and if Riki is out, then it really necessitates both TC and Peeks (and I am aware this is majorly risky given how little he has played but hey, he's on big bucks, let's see what he's got given there is an opportunity there now) and he has crazy eyes, I love that. I think Niu needs another shot and so does Staggs, if they royally suck again, then you can justify punting one/both.

So to me, the secure players are:

2. Oates
4. Farnworth
7. Reynolds (I am putting yesterday down to one of those days, we know he is quality)
10. Haas
11. Capewell (See Reynolds)
17. Walters (Not much he could do yesterday, the team was shot before he got on)

Carrigan, Flegler, Palasia, Hetherington - I am just not sure what number will be on these guys backs but they are all secure.

Safe but on notice:

3. Staggs (He really needs to step up but the quality is obviously there)
6. Kelly (There are a lot of options at 6, he will not want to play so poorly again)

At Risk:

1. Niu (I would punt him if I knew Kevvie would give Herbie a shot at fullback but I just don't think it will happen, he will want to give Tesi a chance to up his game and I am not totally against it)
5. Cobbo (He might be in Q Cup if he keeps up his poor start to the season before too long)
12. Riki (Purely due to injury, no other reason)
24. Jensen (Purely because of the potential out of Riki above. I like Jensen but he is a fringe first grader and might be the victim of balance for the side)

Gone:
9. Turpin (I don't know if Kevvie has the guts to do it and the defense is strong but it just isn't enough. He was a handbrake again yesterday and we need more from this position, he is stunting the attack because basically, we have nothing because the defense is constantly in Reynolds' face due to slow, inaccurate passing and absolutely no running threat whatsoever)
14. James (He is not the player he once was and someone needs to make way for Flegs who would be a MASSIVE upgrade on whatever James is supposed to offer)

So for me, the ins are:
Paix
Flegler
and a consideration of Lee to replace either Cobbo or Niu but not yet. Lee would be 18th man though with these guys on notice.

Cobbo looks like his confidence has taken a bit of hit, I'd bring in Pereira to take the pressure off him.

If Kevvie is reluctant to try Herbie at fullback then bring in Meady.

Both add plenty of experience.

You would think if your halfback, captain, marquee man isn't happy with the service he is getting from his 9 he has a big say if he's still getting that jersey. He had a say in the choice of Kelly at 6 so you'd think 9 would be no different.
Kevvie and Alfie are former halves and would know the importance of good quick service.
