Need hetho at lock.
Haas
Patty
Hetho
14 Walters
15 flegs
16 pal
17 TC because he can also fill in the back row

**** James off, the bloke should be a fill in.

Dobbo on the radio said Capewell might be in doubt for this game as well.

Have we got anyone left that can even play 2nd row with Riki, Capewell and Piakura out.

TC will get a run, but are we now looking at Palasia out there as well??

Need some cover on the bench too

Yep all of Riki, Capewell and Piakura likely out.

Could we see a debut for Te Kura? Or...Staggs to second-row and bring in Lee?

He's not 18 and hasn't even been able to play MM for three weeks.

Lee was nearly non-existent against the Tigers. You wouldn't have even known he was out there. I was very disappointed.

Staggs to second row might be an interesting shout.

Staggs to second row might be an interesting shout.

Mogg did it for two weeks right at the start of his career. He was really impactful.

He slaughtered Blackhawks the first time he did it, it was only his second ISC game.

29 tackles
0 misses
Try
18 points
1 line break
1 try assist
1 line break assist

Ben and Shane Walker used to do that a bit too- Put Vidot in the second row when he got dropped back to Jets- Logic was gets your hand on the ball more.

Interesting the next time Mogg did it against the Tigers- he ran three times and didn't have much of a impact- back to the centres.

Johnson named in reserves to come back and tear us a new one hahahah

Here's what they look like they need: four on four touch footy matches after training every day. Right side backs vs left side. **** the forwards off to do their own thing and play with the football amongst themselves.

Turpin, Reynolds, Staggs, Cobbo vs Walters, Kelly, Farnworth, Oates.

Maybe throw Tesi and Paix in there as well.

What I'm seeing is these blokes don't know each other's games. They're overshooting, not looking to pass, not supporting each other. They need to have a near telepathic understanding of each others' quirks.

It's clear Staggs, Reynolds and Cobbo are at sea with each other. Herbie, Corey and Albert seem to all be doing their own things, rather than look to string together sequences. Herbie, to his credit, goes looking for the ball at least. But no other fucker is going to get it off him. Staggs, on the other hand, waits for it to come to him, and then fumbles it. Cobbo never stands a chance.

It's like they've never practiced passing end to end let alone anything resembling a second phase, turning it back inside or even a run around. They are literally stuck in the 101 of back line movements and they can't even manage that.

Whoever is coaching these backs is a dismal failure. Who the **** is it?

i thought they had to sit out of these matches per loan agreement... must not apply anymore

I only recall that happening with the Raiders getting whatshisname from the Bulldogs.

Retained:

James
Turpin
Palasia in the second row
Pretty much everyone else.
Riki is named to start.
