Averages around 26-27 tackles at 97.6% Tackle Efficiency.Ryan James is obviously the defensive option.
Didn't see the stats but he didn't look to be missing too many tackles.
On this, I definitely agree with you. Kennedy is easily the better player. Talk/shmalk. I can't judge players on their supposed on field talk, but I think as a forward talk only goes so far, run it hard, tackle hard, that's all I care about. We don't agree that often but we do today
I probably wouldn't be quite as harsh but he definitely has added nothing we weren't getting from Kennedy but James's defence was/is marginally better. However, Kennedy's metres were way better. Anyway, if we are using James it's his chance to prove his doubters wrong and KW's faith in him justified.
He better hit that line hard though because playing alongside Haas will make poor go forward stand out even more. I have grave fears for this match and as a consolation prize have loaded up on the Warriors.
Just looking for something positive - 3 time last year the team came up with a win after being belted.
R7 - conceded 46 pts
R8 - won 36-28
R10 - conceded 50 pts
R11 - won 34-16
R15 - conceded 46 pts
R16 - won 26-18
maybe a bit of tough loveMust not have been that bad of an injury..
Hass to make all the meters. James will follow him around and talk him up. Seems like a good plan. The metre king starting. Ryan James. 106 metres from three games totalling an hour and three quarters.
Probably not a bad thing in some ways. He's provided absolutely nothing in the go forward department when used off the bench. Starting might make his place in the team justified. Oh, all that extra talking is surely a boost!!!

I get the patient approach. Maybe he wants to see if they react. I just get concerned that players don't ever get held accountable. I thought one or two changes should have been made.I'd imagine we'll see some late changes. Walters' is playing ducks and drakes with Riki and if Capewell is ruled out I'd imagine we may see Ryan James tossed into the edge backrow like he was against the Cowboys when Kurt came from the field. I wouldn't be shocked at all if we see him and Flegler swap with James coming onto replace Palasia or Robati during the game.
I'm surprised that Hosking wasn't named as a reserve, I would have thought given the injury toll you may want him around as cover and he had pretty good numbers for Wynnum on the weekend.
Otherwise business as usual and I'm not surprised at all to see Walters take a patient approach.
I wouldn't be shocked if there's some late changes but I didn't expect to see as many drastic changes as some fans on here wanted. I think they'll come in time but there's very little wriggle room as it currently stands.I get the patient approach. Maybe he wants to see if they react.
