JACK Reed has been a Bronco tragic for most of his life and that is why wearing a historic jersey is so special to him.

He will get the chance when the Broncos play in their 2014 Heritage Jersey against the Eels on April 4, and was proud to be the first Bronco to wear it for the TV cameras today.

It doesn't look like Reed will be dropped if Hodges returns next week....

Hook nailed the predicted time for Oates to come back, so maybe he will correctly predict Hodges time as well. This article was from 3 weeks ago, so what, maybe another 3 weeks for Hodges? Hopefully Hodges is back this week or next week, but I wouldn't be surprised if its by around round 7 or 8 or so.

I know it's an out there call, but when Hodges returns maybe Vidot to the bench? It's not like they're going to move Hoffman from 5/8 and Maranta has been playing well. Copely can more than handle the wing and has good size to him now. The Walker brothers have been successful in using wing/centres as second rowers with the faster game for Ipswich. He would be good as cover on the bench and could definitely handle himself in the 2nd row.

I don't get why some are so confident of a win.

We won 2 games that were a bit scrappy (win is a win though!) and lost a game we should have won because we fell asleep at the wheel.

Dragons have won all 3 games and 2 were impressive wins:

Put 40 on the Tigers who have beaten the Titans and Rabbitohs since
Put 40 on the Warriors who beat the Cowboys last night.

It wasn't an impressive win against the Sharks but they did have Carney back.

Until I see some consistent footy from the Broncos I won't be confident going in to any game.

I agree. The only thing we can say at this stage is that we can be competitive. Our attack must improve heaps.. The Dragons deserve to be favourites for this match.

Hodges at 6 is just as bad, if not worse than hoffman there. Hodges is not a play maker. I hate that people seem to think five eighth is just a place you throw a good player that u cant fit elsewhere. Teams have tried with Inglis, Hayne, Wighton, Harrison with little to no success and we are currently trying with hoffman. Hodges is a centre or fullback, thats it
