Id say this week. Hoping for a switch of centres for jimmy even thou he looked to be getting better. He made more runs even looked close to scoring.
mate i enjoy some good insider rumour/innuendo as much as anyone (bar faithy) but some of this is getting just a little borderline..
At least we no longer have to wait for his latest tip, we can just check the results in the paper.New week; so whichever player scores tries on the weekend that's the player your sources will tell you will be in the Broncos' side the next week.
Insightful.
JACK Reed has today undergone a minor procedure on his eye after suffering a bad knock against the Penrith Panthers on Saturday night.
Reed left the field with blurred vision in the second half of the game after taking some contact in a tackle.
After seeing a doctor this morning he underwent surgery to repair a damaged retina.
The prognosis was positive, with Reed only expected to miss one match because of the injury.
“After consulting the doctor Jack had immediate surgery on a damaged retina,” said Broncos’ High Performance Manager Jeremy Hickmans.
“Although it sounds dramatic and anything with the eye is serious, it was fairly good news.
“It should repair quickly now and he should only miss one match because of the eye injury.”
Meanwhile, two Penrith players have been charged out of the match that was won 23-22 by the Panthers.
Lock Jeremy Latimore will face a week’s suspension unless he can beat a dangerous contact (head/neck) charge for an incident with Broncos’ winger Greg Eden.
Panthers prop Sam McKendry will get off with an early guilty plea for a high tackle on Josh McGuire.
Knight Sione Mata’utia faces a week for a dangerous throw as does Tiger Chris Lawrence, while Rabbitoh Paul Carter could do a week for a dangerous contact.
Eels’ captain Kieran Foran will beat a ban with an early guilty plea for contact with the referee, while Rabbitoh Kirisome Auva’a will also be free to play with an early plea on a dangerous contact charge.
