Round 4 Discussion

If Newcastle don't let the Panthers back into the game, they will be the only undefeated team left.

I'm not sure they even signed anyone of note... So their only changes to the team that performed poorly last year appears to be the losses of Bennett, Boyd and Mason...

Have they actually been convincing though? I've watched all their games so far and they've been far from convincing wins. This is the first game that they've actually looked good.

They signed Tariq FYI, but he hasn't played yet.

They have had the Panthers run from last year so far. Warriors, Cowboys, Titans. They beat the Warriors and Cowboys last year once, and lost to the Titans. Their form this year looks good so far but they are yet to play anyone who has played well.

They haven't even won this game
Yet FFS and they are playing a team backing up from Monday night without there starting hooker and 6.

They'll most likely win this, but as Cult is saying, I don't think they've played anyone impressive yet. Cowboys, Titans are as awful this year, Warriors I'll give them(minus Tomkins though). Penrith have a forward playing 5/8 and have lost Segeyaro for this game, Wallace has proven time and time again he can't play as the lead playmaker.

Still, Newcastle have made the most of what they've been given, so credit to them. I just think even with 4/4, they're far from a team to fear, but look they'll be competitive in most games.

Moylan misses another GK, so they're going to still need 3 converted trys to win. Can't see them doing that from here.

Panthers over again, video ref to confirm.

Try given, Moylan converts. 24-14 8 minutes to go.

Watching the Tigers vs Bulldogs replay, Tigers really missed Richards at the end there..

They had the perfect opportunity for a field goal a couple of times, but they didn't have anyone that could strike them as well as Richards.

I think if he was playing, they win.

BAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA The butt hurt at home continues for the Sharks.

Welp, we really need to beat the Warriors now, because it seems the Titans are a speed bump, so winning 4 in a row will put us in good stead

Meninga reckons the Titans are travelling better than the Broncos this year

That was such a weird article.

Mal seemed to be basing his assessment on expectations. Everyone expected the Titans to be poor, but since they weren't utterly terrible that made them somehow better than the Broncos...

OK...

I'm not offended by that because based on what I've seen, the Broncos aren't crash hot either but even then I don't know how you can draw that conclusion.

As for this weekend in tipping - thank god I was able to change my tip for Penrith/Knights because I'd be 1/4. Can't comment too much as I've only seen the Eels/Rabbitohs game but the Sharks must have been pretty bad to lose that given everything was in their favour.

Be fair guys, the Titan's got their first win of the season, premiership favourites now, they will be lining up to enjoy it.

Manly really are a rabble this year.

Even if they do win, to have to come from 10 behind against the Dragons is embarrassing for a side like Manly..

Dugan in a nut-shell.

Great kick return but gets greedy and throws a really dumb offload that goes to ground.

Now Manly are on the attack.
