Be nice if they could do media commitments a) not in a shed where noise echoes and b) when there’s a bunch of kids shouting around behind sponsor board

Its really only one step from someone being on the toilet really.

I don't get this obsession with fans on here putting a priority on what we can do in attack or what we aren't doing in attack when we've conceded soft tries in the past 2 weeks.

We should absolutely be getting our defense in order, that's how we will win games (just like we did in the first 2 rounds).
We are the second worst in the comp for errors overall, 3rd worst in the comp (somehow) for handling errors and 4th worst for ineffective tackles, whilst having completed the most amount of tackles in the comp (not surprising given how allergic to the pill we are).

Our defence is hot garbage, our error rate is atrocious and ball handling, terrible.

Overall these stats show our attitude stinks because these are all effort areas and our efforts are absolutely dismal.

This is going to be a very long season at this rate unless significant change occurs and I’m sure we all know how likely significant change is, under Kevin…

Yes it’s going to take time. Unfortunately a lot of that time is about Kevin learning to become an NRL coach. He looked like a deer in the headlights at his last presser, Adam was the only one making any sense. A very long season indeed.

Most of those errors probably Staggs and Cobbo. They seem to do 4 or 5 each every week. It’s just crazy how bad Staggs has become.

It would be interesting to know those stats after round 2. There seems to be more to this Haas-Kelly thing than meets the eye, unless something else also happened. The players were playing amazingly as a team and suddenly, it’s like they can’t stand each other again.

From memory Staggs and Cobbo have a combine 28 errors. The team has 50.

For comparison 28 errors is only 3 less than the Panthers entire team’s total of 31 errors over 4 rounds.

If we stop the errors the defence won't look as bad on paper.

It seems every time we get close to being within range of some set plays at the line, we **** up and hand it straight back to the opposition and then it's back to tackling.
We cut back the errors, that means more attacking and less tackling.
Less tackling means less fatigue and less missed tackles.

couldn't care less about a presser , on feild performance is the worry .

Looking at NRL stats we have 43 handling errors total, Staggs/Cobbo 28 errors, so they're 65% of our total errors.

I don't think there's any sinister reason, you make that many errors, which subsequently means we have the lowest possession rate in the comp and the highest tackle rate, teams will run over you through pure exhaustion.

It's a simple game. Hold the damn ball.

The only thing endless late tackle count penalties in the opps 40 kills us too. The side currently has discipline issues that are impossible to overcome in the context of a game.

Im glad to see finally guys like Kobe and Paix in there. Ive wanted to see Kobe at 13 all season and due to injury (unfortunately) hes made it. So something to look forward to.

Same with Paix.

I would have thought that a great opportunity to bring Gamble in here may be missed. We all know Radley can get wound up and i cant think of anyone better tasked with that over 80 minutes then Tyson.

When you're struggling, you have to dive deep into the bread basket to find something.

Id give Gamble a runout here...
