because there is more than running metres to being a good prop , i know you're hurting deep down because your love child isn't getting a go.
40 metres a game in 35 minutes per game....disgusting. Your response might be the worst defence of a players non contribution since the excuses offered for Milford.

On the run is too chaotic. Half the time captains can’t even challenge in time if they’re too far away from the ref
Yeah it could be hard to do. Could even be something for the coaches, they have access to the mics of the ref for this 1 purpose only. Obviously it's an idea in infancy and would take some brainstorming to make workable.

I'm right with you in the James crusade.

He offers zilch, he's just a pillow. Clearly isn't helping defence since we get walloped while he's in the middle.

Do not rate, plz don't re-sign him Kev.

So this is probably a stupid question but captains cannot challenge six agains can they because there is no stoppage? As mentioned above by others, absolutely perfect manipulation tool with zero recourse in or out of game because no one knows what they were for and cannot be challenged. The reason also isn't recorded right? Blatant corruption.

You’re correct except they are recorded. Fox even puts up a little ticker that says what the 6 again was for “ruck infringement”, “inside the 10” etc

Thanks for clarifying, so basically broad strokes that no one has the time or responsibility to check. Of course the inside 10 one is the best because no club is going to highlight that because they all live offside.

Well it's going to get a lot worse this weekend. I'm thinking similar to the "crackdown" on high shots last year in magic round. I hope we are aware and training for it, because the Roosters are definitely going to take advantage of it (so they should, and so should we).

It wouldnt matter if we trained for it or not we'll still get reamed.

We have the slowest line speed in the comp yet the refs still somehow find us offside

The exact examples they've been using for coming up with a need for this crackdown is that Teddy and Turbo havent been as good this year... so we are absolutely fucked.

Inside the ten feels like the most inconsistently applied. You sometimes have referees calling out players warning them they are offside and not to get involved, and then other times they don't bother and call six again if players get off the line too quickly, even if they haven't gotten involved yet. They need to scrap the warnings altogether, and let the players take responsibility - if they are clearly off-side and choose to get involved, call it then.

it's not a defence it's a statement, you're just looking at one part of a props game to push an agenda.
i really could care less who Kevvie picks in that roll , but obviously he see more value in james than your boyfriend Kennedy.

Be interesting to see how we fair with Haas suspended. Do well and win, (doubtful I know), and it could change our plans regarding his contract extension. Life after Haas may not be so bad. Here's hoping.

Haas is expected to play Friday night. Integrity Unit unlikely to complete investigation until after the match.

If it’s only a 1 match suspensions you probably want it burn it on the Panthers anyway.

Would have been much easier if Carrigan and Flegler weren't both out. Good luck getting a win with Kennedy/James setting the platform for Turpin/Billy/Niu.

The coaching thing refs do irks me no end. That and calling players by name / nickname. All players should be referred to by numbers and sorry refs, you can't even ref properly, you shouldn't be coaching in game as well!

And then, on top of that, you have the ref's tip sheets. Like how Flegler is a grub so if he hits someone hard he needs to be reported (yet JWH and Radley are just "Enforcer's" so are allowed to be dirty). And Penrith are just super fit so their line speed is fine, and the Storm are the best at the wrestle so they can get away with more.

And Nelson Asofa-Powell, serial drop kick and grub who cheapshots everyone AND refuses to get vaccinated just does whatever the heck he wants and never gets punished.
