Round 5 Discussion

HT in the Brisbane telecast.

While the Bulldogs dominated the bulk of the first half, I felt like their lead played a big part in that and with the Rabbitohs scoring an 8 point try, I feel like the game is on a knives edge and Souths have a great opportunity to swing it back in their favour.

Biggest difference between the two teams is the backs. The Dogs have been able to chew through metres very easily while the Rabbits have been easily accounted for.

LU has crashed, refs being pelted with bottles.

What a fucking joke that was.

Bulldogs fans forgetting the rules to find an excuse for that loss. That was a penalty every day and Graham and Klemmer should be fined and/or suspended for their reaction. Thaiday touched a refs shirt whilst speaking calmly and got suspended.

But it wasn't a penalty. It wasn't a late hit, and the kicker wasn't in the air. All this joke about protecting the halves, which the refs ignore until Souffs are in trouble. I'd bet the writhing in agony + strapping is just acting at its best.

You can't hit the legs of a kicker. It doesn't matter if it was an accident.

The Kennel has crashed.

I think the Dogs will be fined heavily for the way their fans reacted by throwing bottles.

I don't think it was an accident. James Graham has a habit of playing dirty.

A few South's players were hurt with 'accidental' feet & knees to the head & back.

Lol, so how did Graham end up with a cut on his head then? Must have been self inflicted.

And I saw plenty of knees dropped in tackles from both teams, just like Cronulla do every single game.

Anyway, yes, big fine coming up for the dogs. I think the press conference will be pretty tame though.

Lucky the NRL changed the rules and coaches can't criticise refs, as Hasler would have been fined about 2 million dollars.

The Kennel is back online.

As much as i hate souths, the penalty was correct IMO but disgusting from the dogs fans.
I love James Graham though, such a character in the NRL.

From what I've seen so far, the refs have been inconsistent with challenges on the kickers. A few late hits that haven't been pulled up.

Yeah, it was a penalty, but it's the inconsistency that really pisses me off.

Would love to see Inglis' hit on Reynolds (somewhere around 65 min mark) again, looked late and high live, and no replays.
Morris was absolutely taken out off the short kickoff.
Souths were also allowed an absolute shitload of time to lie around in tackles.

So, it was just Reynolds.

Inglis was just paying him back for all the shit he does in other games.

Yeah inconsistency shits me.
After looking at the tackle again while I still believe it was a penalty, there was absolutely no intention in the hit and shouldn't be a problem at the MRC.

Might have been Hodkinson, will have to check when the replay's posted.

Lol, I have to hold the Reynolds hate back here. Mine's a 50% doggies supporting household. Going to be a real battle when we have kids, considering how the grandparents feel.

Just saw the incident.

Technically, it's a penalty but that was a fucking harsh one. Graham was trying to charge down a field goal attempt.
