Round 5 Discussion

That Edrick Lee penalty was ridiculous, penalised for tackling too hard and after staying on the ground for an eternity Vunivalu doesn't go for an HIA.

The ref even had time to send up to the video ref and still came up with the bullcrap call.

Ridiculous call from the touchie. Hands Melbourne the game and stops a great finish

And now the decoy runner loses the collision but gets a penalty. Who the **** knows anymore

Melbourne getting some convenient calls. I don't think the refs know what they're doing anymore.

Absolutely disgraceful end to the game once again, anyone surprised?

Knights are going to be pumped next week, I’m scared.

Well they may have received some calls, but Melbourne were the better side for the majority of the contest. There was a set at 18-12, where Newcastle had Melbourne inside their own 10m. A lot of other teams would have been swallowed up that set but Melbourne orchestrated an amazing set.

Olam made a big run on play two and Brandon Smith followed it up with a huge run which allowed them to make it to halfway. Then Cameron Smith forced Hymel Hunt to bring it out from their in-goal and the Storm from there took over.

Brandon Smith playing the 8 mtr rule. Right next to the ref .....nothing.

If Thursday didn’t confirm it, tonight sure did!

Imagine having all that technology, 3 sets of eyes on the field, having your entire profession based on refereeing where you train daily and STILL fucking it up.
