It was nice to see a passionate defence of Wayne for a change, indeed.
And rightfully so, Crawley summed it up so perfectly and they were getting frustrated being in a position where they actually had to face someone who presented a well positioned counter argument.
Like most things truth is in between. Defending WB isn’t a journalist doing his job. He provided an opinion backed with some evidence but hardly had equal perspective.
Tinkler was biggest issue and sounds like WB did some good things (not exactly earth shattering more like professionalism which may be hard if knights were set in their ways).
Facts is however the guys that have made the biggest difference bar 1 or 2 aren’t the knights juniors but are the buys, helped by freeing up cap with ok performing locals. The main difference is Browns signings aren’t over the hill 30odd year olds but genuine firepower you can build around, helped by cap dynamics that hindered some other competing offers.
So far since becoming SuperCoach WB has left 3 clubs and all 3 failed miserably after he left. Either WB is beyond SuperCoach or he has put in place systems that screw you once he and his aura has gone. Issue for broncs currently is doesn’t seem like aura is working well at moment...
Also you don’t pay a million odd per year for a coach getting close to premiership. You get it for winning at end of been a while since justified that pay check.
