POST GAME Round 5 - Knights vs Broncos

This probably sums us up as a whole at this point.
Doing the 1% well at times, but keep failing miserably at the 99%.
opposite way bro in that situation, 99 percent well and 1 percent bad

Roberts and Milford both should of scored from their breaks they just needed to back themselves and again that comes down to confidence and belief.

I mean look, the season has been frustrating thus far but that video above is absolutely hilarious.

Last night was actually a step in the right direction, no doubt about that. Next week will surprise more than a few of us I suspect.

I wonder if next week will be about winning for a change

Sooner we play Parramatta the better. Surely our forwards can get on top of theirs.

Watched a replay of this game because I’m a sucker for punishment. I must have missed the rule change stating you aren’t allowed to pressure a kicker because F*#k me we were pathetic at it.

When it came to our oppositions last tackle we were down right no two ways about it absolutely Piss poor lazy. Something like that has nothing to do with skill or speed or tallent it’s attitude knowing that maybe 1 in every 100 times you will cause an error but it’s something that must be done. My blood is boiling right now having noticed that.

I’d disagree.
The ability to step past or around half the opposition is the 1% skill that not many have, passing is definitely the 99% skill and the part he (and the rest of the team for that matter) should be getting right every time.

That’s an attitude thing, you can tell when a teams feeling it by the unheralded plays, kick pressure, kick chase, backing up 15 times just in case there’s the offload.

Last night Ponga almost shone the light on their shit attitude.

Blair used to do that and you can be sure he will next week.

Dargon nice pass for a rampaging Taggers to score.
Allan two tries today and Souths were terrific. A certain outside back Bronco after the game- let me in I want to sing a song again!

Any word on allan staying or going? How was dargon's kicking game?

I agree. This is why we pay this bloke the money we do, it’s also why we should me moulding the spine around him, no other #6 (barring 2016 Austin) looks as dangerous and instinctive as Milford.

Exactly......Milford at 6 isn't the problem. The problem is, we have zero other attacking options within the current spine. Long term thinking......we should be looking for a 1, 9, and 7 now, with a view to rebuild the spine for 2020.

RE: Why Milford didn't pin his ears back. That right there is a good indicator of where his confidence level is right now. It's shot

as for the pass......

Edit: Inappropriate

The way milford is frustrated and down with confidence, there's a good chance he leaves for a fresh start else where before we can even provide the spine he needs.

If only we had the players for that spine in 2014.

Oh wait...

Well our fringe players usually go from benchies/ QCUP to starting and starring for other clubs in positions where we have blokes out of form (Arrow, Taylor as recent examples), so hopefully that applies to us with Dargan. The Eels halves are playing like crap.

Its getting close for dargan, but first he has to show something. Too often we have signed and re-signed players on promise. I pray to the NRL gods, we don't start picking them on it. A full 80 minutes where he dominates in his role would be enough. Until then, I don't care what he does. 35 minutes wont cut it. That goes for young up and comers too. We need big minutes from them and have them dominating when they do.
