Yep, where are all the Hannant haters?

I critised him pre-season and after R1.

It is because of this criticism that I take full responsibility for his form turn around. He obviously reads here and my firm but fair comments, appear to have stung him into action.

He's been a powerhouse ever since......laid the foundation for a great win tonight.

I would just like to add that Greg Bird is a runt...

Was great to see Hodgo pull him to the ground after that dogshot on Maranta.

Norman was my MOTM, but huge credit needs to go to Corey Parker and Ben Hannant for their mammoth efforts.

Thought Macca was much better this week, albeit a little inconsistent at times. Gillett's slowly improving too.

Overall, the most pleasing thing for me was how fluid our attack looked. Sure, we're not fully there yet and as has been pointed out, it was pretty basic stuff... but, it actually looked like there was some organisation and purpose when we had possession. Good to see.

Parker - 23 runs for 180m. Legendary, we always seem to have at least 1 forward to lead the way. Always seemed to be one of the first to get off the line in defence too.

Hannant played a massive game too, 15 runs for 146m and 40+ tackles. Hopefully he keeps it up, their work up front is what won us the game IMO, completely dominated the Titans pack.

Parker rarely plays a bad game these days.......

Ben Hannant has really picked up his act too.

Parker is a class act. Always 100% from him. He's a leader on the field even if he isn't captain.

I loved Hodgo getting in a stoush with Bird the dirty ****.

I don't know what it is but I really think Ryan James is a wanker. I just don't like that guy. Reminds me of Jeremy Smith at the Knights who I also think is a scummy player.

It's amazing what a fullback with some playmaking capabilities can add to a team.

I know people don't really like Norman's kick returns but I love what he offered from the back. Those long, sweeping passes on kick returns looked really good -- actually reminded me a bit when we used to look to attack as soon as we got the footy. We'll score an 80m try if he keeps showing that ambition on every return.
