Bennett talking about needing his replacements to step up and replace the guys they're coming in for... he might be resigned to losing them and creating the narrative for his players already

From Bennett presser:

Kaufusi - Hammy... unlikely to be playing
Herbie - AC Joint... unlikely to be playing
Flegler - AC Joint... didn't make out what he said, but might've said not expecting to play... did anyone hear what he said there?

I think grade 1 AC joints are 1-2 weeks and they're painful up until they're healed and then it's fine... so just a time thing... I think I've heard commentators say they can be needled, but Croft picked up an AC joint injury in early rounds 2020 and missed 2 weeks or so?? (this was when he was playing well for the team and they would've wanted him on the field)

He was certainly mumbling. I think he said Flegs a chance. The other two aren’t.

1.Walsh
2.Arthurs
3.Cobbo
4.Staggs
5.Oates
6.Sailor
7.Mam
8.Jensen
9.Walters
10.Baker
11.Hunt
12.Riki
13.Carrigan
14.Smoothy
15.Te Kura
16.Hethrington
17.Willison

IF Walsh and Willison are ready to go, I would chuck them both straight back in. Te Kura was amazing in his debut game and I would keep him going. I would give Sailor and Mam a go in the halves, they could have a massive future there. Broncos 26+
I’m not watching another game where we don’t have cover for outside backs. Oates on the bench, or maybe Sailor if we are desperate.

Lol fox are such flogs. the sensationalism from them about Redcliffe being top of the table after beating the titans, dragons and tigers plus a bye is hilarious.
Talk about big fish in a small pond. Would love to have Staggs get a try and shout that it’s our f**ken house. Dirty dolphins squatting in our rightful stadium.

If you asked Wayne when he signed Flegler and Farnworth "Alright Wayne, which game do you absolutely need us for the most, so we can work our injuries around that game", he absolutely would have said the game against us, without hesitation.

That's unfortunate, Wayne.

Flegler - AC Joint... didn't make out what he said, but might've said not expecting to play... did anyone hear what he said there?

He said he's a chance of playing.

It seems like everyone is getting injured right now. And I do wonder, would the NRL be wiser to look at bringing in positional weight classes or limits instead of getting rid of the kickoff?

Also, it's a bit beyond crazy, but would we (or any team, potentially) ever look at starting both dummy halves to carry a specialist back on the bench?

This game has just become winnable for me. The whole comp is winnable after today, in form teams looking totally beatable which is great to see. The Warriors included, while they were good today, the rabbits were so shite that even the titans would have flogged them I reckon. So many teams sitting 2-3 on the ladder like us, bodes well for us making a push when our stars return before too long.

Yep just got to roll with the punches at the moment and keep picking up wins where possible. We are primed to go for a post-origin run.

Need to stay at .500 until the troops start returning and hope we have no more injuries in between.

The team also need to be ruthless at this time... can't afford to drop games against teams we should be beating and can't afford to waste try scoring opportunities... like the two bombed tries against storm.

Comp is way too tight at the moment and we are vulnerable until the troops return.

Afters Bakers soft as **** attempt at a tackle on Wishart in that Storm game let's not use him as a starter for now.
He may be the only viable option. See how the lads recover from injury. I hope even Marty is good for a run

I think we would have beaten the Dolphins anyway, but if they lose Herbie, Flegler and Kafusi its going to be a big defeat for them
They still need to lose hammer and katoa to be roughly equal with our outs lol

Edit: they don’t have anybody on their roster close to Walsh, Arey, or Haas’ level, thus the use of the word roughly
