I hear what you're saying, and true they are major contributing factors. But surely with the talent this man had/possibly still has hidden somewhere, he could have bounced back somewhat. He instead has just gone completely off a cliff. Maybe he just lacks that intestinal fortitude and resilience that most sporting greats possess. I just feel sorry for what could/should have been when it comes to Milf, that's all.

Yeah I'm right there with you.

I think it's obvious he doesn't have that deep in the guts desire that Locky and Thurston and so on had. Or maybe he does but it just isn't in him to be elite week in, week out and lift everyone around him. I don't know. All I know is flat out bagging him as a lazy fucker stealing money from us for four years doesn't tell the whole story. He's been through a lot for a 26 year old.

Time to part ways, and that's unfortunate imo.

Brandy is a fucking ****.

Hmmm...I wonder if we might see Milf to the Roosters for the remainder of this year. He'd be good in a system with good structures where he can do his thing and you just know our club would be stupid enough to let him go for minimum wage to the Roosters.

Maybe it's not KW desperately looking for the right combination to get a win, but dropping an under-performing player to;
A - hopefully get the best out of him later
B - send a strong message to the roster about perform or perish

If so, then KW is more concerned about long term results than flukeing that next win - in which case I say takes big balls, and I got nothing but respect
He can do that without looking indecisive

He would thrive there, as the board would back the coach and lackluster perormances would not be tolerated. They would probably only pay him around 200k for the remainder.

Uncle Nick would have a taste for him, but we would be paying freight. We would also be shortening our backups/reserves, at some point injuries will hit us, so far we have been lucky.

I was at a derby game in Townsville, mid 2016 I think. I was sitting right behind the posts. I remember it was either 19-18 Cows or 18-18. Milf got the ball right in front maybe 20 out and shanked the field goal. My cows supporting mate was pissing himself...

I'm pretty sure from that point on Milf went from absolute consistently top tier, to inconsistent and 'potentially' great.

What the **** happened?

The entire organisation went down the toilet and he's the on-field figurehead and has crumbled under the pressure.

If it's the game I'm thinking of, Hunt had a few misses, the Cows did too before JT iced it. Was there too.

Well I don’t think they’d want him... Sam Walker is as safe as safe can be and drew Hutchison has been very impressive, i honestly thought that they’d really struggle because he is their 6 but he has surprised me

I probably should look it up, but I remember Hunt on the bell from 45m out having a crack to tie it up. Hit it well but went way wide. Can't remember any other shots from Hunt tho..

Might be thinking of the next year with Niko and Milf trading shots.

Sucked either way. Walked out with some bogan shouting 'how does that feel Broncos fans?' lol.

Unfortunate indeed, parting ways seems a foregone conclusion. I think we all hoped that he would become the marquee player he once seemed destined to become. He no doubt has his share of the blame to take, but seems pointless to dump more crap on him. Hopefully he can salvage his career with a fresh start.

As for the Broncos, I really hope that moving forward, his demotion is the catalyst for bigger and better things from the playing group.

Capewell and S’ua on the radar apparently

I'm gonna be honest here. This is the moat concerned ive ever been. This could be it, they very well could hit 60 points on us.

If the young panthers get in the mood, we might well hit our rock bottom on Thursday night and take a beating like no other. Our team is down on confidence, no combination's, no real danger player, brittle defence. If you thought we were broken before this could genuinely destroy some of these lads mentally.

Lets hope kevvie has put a bomb under them and showing that by dropping milf no one is safe and they come out and compete against the panthers.
I'm not concerned this will happen. If KW gets his forwards right the Panthers will be fearing for their safety. Lodge Turps and ( Flegler or Kennedy) to start. Haas and TpJ second row Carrigan to lock and add three of the best remaining forwards to the bench. Let's play to our strength and I think we have plenty of forward firepower. Let's just bash them ala Cronulla from a few years ago. Yes, **** the druggo sharks yada yada yada

No matter who is dropped or kept in this team, if we dont improve our line speed and control in the ruck we will still likely get 40 posted on us.

Last night st george came out with really agressive line speed and first contact which won them the ruck and subsequently the game against parra.

I am not expecting much in attack, penrith have kept sides much better than ours to nil, but if we improve our line speed, ruck control, our movement off the ball with support runners (not just one outs from the dummy half) and at least look to have some formation it will be an improvement.
