I haven't showered in 2 weeks, and they were our best performances. I'll take one more filthy week for the team.
Do you by any chance live alongside Gympie Rd? It would explain the stench when I drove past today... but then again, it is the northside! :001_tt2:

Couldn't be any worse then the stench coming from Robina on the Gold Coast.
I don't know, I never go that far down the coast. I prefer to stay on the north (otherwise known as civilised) side.

Luckily I'm in Coomera, but I work in Southport and you can definitely smell it there. :001_unsure:

Thurston and Bowen will run riot.

Scott and Tamou playing for test jumpers.

Broncos at Suncorp.

All signs pointing to a defeat for mine. Could just be the Monday arvo blues.
not too worried about thurston, bowen and tamou on the other hand...

northside > southside

Labrador is where the south starts and Nerang is way south! :winky:

Oh, so you're one of those "fake" coasties around Helensvale? :P

You poor misguided soul...

Northside people have Stockholm syndrome. Because of the shitty infrastructure up there, they can't leave, so they fall in love with it :P

Still no Josh McGuire. Thaiday back at prop with a bench of Anderson, Slyney, Hunt and Hala

I really don't like Thaiday at prop.

Sanderson did a good job starting last week, let him start this match and put Sam in the second row, Gillett to the bench.

What's with this obsession people have with putting Gillett on the bench?
Why the hell anyone would want any less than 80 mins from one of our best players is a mystery to me...

I don't believe Gillett is really that effective over the 80 on a consistent basis and his defence at times leaves a lot to be desired.

Bringing him off the bench, when the defence is tired and he can pick them off with his foot-work sounds like the best of both worlds.

Essentially, just because somebody can play 80 doesn't mean they should.

happy with that side. thaiday will be ready to rip in again.

looks like parker would play 80 again

Let's agree to disagree on that... For mine, Gillett is too much of a weapon to leave on the bench, and it's worth the risk of an occasional missed tackle because he jumps faster off the line than most other players.

I'd be ok with Parker, Glenn and Gillett all playing 80 minutes.
